Alex's mother nature

Hi! I'm a bit nervous about entering this big competition, I'm not a schooled artist or anything, but I hope I will learn something from this

.

I'm going with something about mother nature, not very original perhaps but I hope I can do something from it. This first one I think is a bit stiff and unoriginal pose but with some interesting background it could work I guess.

With the second one I want a younger girl that is casting some nature spell to grow flowers and vegetation. I think this one can be great fun to do with nice lighting etc. Al tough I do need some help with the pose I think.

I decided on the second one, but I changed the "camera angle" a bit

I'm not really happy about the face tough.

Tight composition on the last picture. If the petals were unfurling it would make her power look more awesome. Her eyes are a bit big if you're not going for a cartoon look. Keep working.

I'm really terrible at faces. I haven't had much time for this piece lately but anyway here is what I'm thinking regarding light and all that.
