Deviant Art does not allow direct linking. You need to upload it to a place that does. I think some people here are using Photobucket.

it looks pretty good
the axe and outstretched leg are kind of boring, but everything else works very well.
Awesome painting. I love Oils, I wish I could paint with them. Looks like you squashed the axe just to fit it on the canvas :p, be more careful next time.
Real sweet stuff man. I really like the face and the hair.
Hey thanks guys for the kind comments and important feedback :chug:
Slain mcRoth with his good friend breinbeter ^^
Hey yo
Slain mcRoth hhhmmm you know a lot of people tell me that this illustration looks like the Character Slain .. but it was after I posted the illustration in some other forum few months ago I found out about the existence of Slain but hey that’s that
thanks for the kind comment :chug:
kery vewl...and good oils
Painterly feel is nice but the drawing is off that right arm isn't attatched to any shoulder! The stance is not right in the next frame he would be flat on his back!
wow, love it specially the greeny light on the sword!![]()
Oh yeah I didn’t use any reference on this oil illustration and that’s why it look’s all wacky thanks for the kind comments and the important feedback :chug:![]()
Any tips for painting with oils on sandpaper? It looks like something I would like to try.
Tips and Illustration Update :)
Hey yo
Well I cant really give any tips but Ill walk ya through with my process of work .. I usually work on (Canson) Oil Sketch Paper for Oil & Acrylics the dimensions of the paper is A3 (297x420 mm) and its 290gsm acid free …
Now this is how I usually work with Oil’s . I start with the preliminary pencil drawing then due to the texture of the Paper I cover it up the pencil lines with Ink ( Winsor & Newton India Ink ) cuz if I work with the oils straight away I would smash the pencil line’s and then it would become a giant mess and that’s cuz of the paper’s Texture…. When you work on normal board you don’t experience this symptoms … any ways after I have varnished the pencil lines and I know where the shadows and the other detail’s go ..I start applying the Oils and that’s how I work in a few word’s …. I hope I have enlighten ya
Here’s another of my Paintings![]()
