    Question Drawing Blood on Paper

I have a drawing that I want to add realistic looking blood flowing from a wound on the characters face. This drawing is done all on paper and can not have any computer/photoshop aid. Any ideas / techniques on drawing realistic blood? I have thoght about using Red Fingernail polish and even my own blood but I dont think it would look right once it dried. I have also thoght about using watercolor pencils which I have just started playing with. Thanks for any ideas / help.

I would try and keep the values for the most part very deep, and even dull perhaps, and have short and sharp specular highlights to show the bloods reflectivity, if your having more difficulties, perhaps try consulting some reference images.

    Good luck

No red fingernail polish! Maybe Dr Martin's liquid watercolors, as they have a good flow and intense colors (not that you want a super intense color, but the pigment load is good so you can more easily mix the right color).
