Another try at a CD-cover for the band WarTex (www.myspace.com/wartexlev).
No, I'm a whimp and don't listen to this sort of music.
No, it looks cheap.
Yes, but only out of pity.
Yes, it looks awesome!

Nice! But I think that the thing the guy is pouring the molten metal from should be more angled. A tip, look at some photos of molten metal being poured.

"I wish to paint in such a manner as if I were photographing dreams" - Zdzislaw BeksinskiMy Happy Little Sketchbook, please check it out and help me get better!
My TUMBLR!
the rendering on the arms needs to be done a bit better, and as was said, the perspective is a bit off on the thing the metal is in.
Thanks, I have addressed the arms and added some burned spots on the gloves. I have also replaced the sparks with drops of metal which I think resembles the real thing more accurate. Also the metal is not yet filling the form, otherwise it wouldn't make any sense to continue pouring. I'll change the angle of the pot alright, still I didn't want it angled too much, as you'd have to be very careful with that.
Not bad. But it really looks too artificial! The "keg" got a hughe lack of depht. You are using to strong colours. The black for the shadow is too intensive for using it on props. The colour of the metal is too red and too yellow i think.
So work on it, and it will look awesome
I painted it over, so that you see, what i mean

eh, i'm sorry but it screams cheesy late 80s metal to me...if that's what you are going for right on, if not I'd rework it a lot.
