I have tons of these that i've accumulated over the years, but I generally tend to post more recent work. Thankfully I work fast, so the hits tend to keep on coming.
Enjoy!

This is a fairly quick digital sketch over an ink drawing.
This is the ink drawing that made up the basis of the previous digital work... Took me a couple of minutes.

Your figures are cool but for some reason i love the the rocks and the house on the cliff even more. Always great to see more ink stuff!![]()
Thanks for the positive feed back on my book, thought I would drop by yours. I really love the inks you have going. The rocks and figures are awesome. What kinds of pens or ink set up are you using?

Most of my linework is just a regular Pilot V5, but I also use a dipping pen with Pebeo Indian in that I got hold of in NZ, you can easily identify that work by the rich, fluctuating lines, it's great once you get the hang of it. I use a single size nib that allows a lot of variation, so there's no need to change pens to creat different lines.
Next one...
The second lot is obvious, but was something odd for me, because I only ever work on my own shit, so drawing someone else's characters is a bit tough, having to conform to certain rules. Coupla sheets up you can also see Judge Dredd scribbles...

And today's one...
As a total change of pace i did these yesterday, must've taken me now more than two hours to do both...
They're oil on canvas.
Right, that was a little painterly detour, now back to the boring sketchbook!
He there, you got some good sketches here. Lots of movement due to the scribbly style.
Especially the last post, with the environments looks great and has depth to it.
On the side, would like to see some more refined stuff! Keep it up!
You can see more refined stuff at my gallery if you click the link below, this sketchbook is meant for concepts, not details.
Thanks!

I loved all that movement in the first oil! I also liked all the other oils too. I also really like all those different shapes of rocks, it's very interesting. C:
Right, these sketches were done in search of something specific, which explains why they are so rough, i'd scribble and see something wasn't working and keep going. Once again that's the problem you have when you do something FOR somebody rather than for yourself, because you're trying to accomodate the other person by giving them what you think they'll want, which makes everything kinda convoluted, but it's always good practise.
I think i will blow up some of the better small sketches in my book for you guys to have a closer look at. Bit of a 'greatest hits' type deal. Or 'The Least Worst Of', to quote Type O Negative.
Right, here are the scrappy bits.
interesting
And here's a cathartic thirty minutes on canvas.
