Wow, amazing sketches!
And my favourite painting is the one with a girl and rabbits and a horse and people above. I don't know what movie (if any) it is for, but it's very original and creative![]()
Thanks Justyna!
It's interesting that you bring up that piece because I was thinking of doing another like it, but was kinda on the fence about it. I think I will now.
It wasn't for a particular movie... originally it was a concept for an editorial illustration for school that I took way beyond its original meaning after the fact (and threw in a lot of stuff that didn't make sense)
Thanks![]()
Well, I sure do hope you will paint it
I subscribed and will definitely be stopping by.
Cheers!

very nice sketchbook pages mate! Getting a bit of a jon foster vibe on that toaster bot down there at the bottom. Keep it up man, lets see some more!
Man I love how you go about incorporating different images in certain parts of your paintings! I don't really have any crits at this point, maybe as you post some more WIPS lol, but all of your stuff is pretty solid.
On a side note, where are you around Toronto? I'm currently in Guelph, but will be up north close to Barrie for the most part of Dec. Message me if your close or interested in starting/know of a good sketch group
subscribed!
Metal fingers, thanks very much.
Fragmented chimp, thanks!
Brad, thanksI'll see about posting more WIPs for the next piece.
I'm in the downtown core in Toronto... as far as drawing groups to suggest... hmmm. There's the keyhole sessions... I usually attend that weekly. They are a specialty life-drawing session. I've also gone to Dr sketchy, but I'm not quite sure if either has any sessions before the new year. I know Keyhole is done until Jan. or something like that.
Is it really difficult to get from barrie to the downtown core? Both of the drawing groups I mentioned are here in the Queen/spadina Queen/dovercourt area.. I think there's a concept art sketchgroup that sometimes meets up, but I've never been (yet).
Speaking of which... here's an ink drawing I did of one of the models at the keyhole sessions:

Epic work. Epic. I will be subscribing to this. Love your style. Looking forward to more...
yes your style and lines are really accomplished and good to look at. but I think its your sense of composition that really caught my eye, I love all of these and its obvious you practice a lot, and its working - keep it up!
Really nice sketchbook! Lots of refreshing energy but good fundamentals as well. Keep it up, you definitly have the chops for illustration.

Ceinie, thankyou. I've been trying to get my compositions right when their still in their thumbnails before I proceed to final. it's nice to know that it's starting to pay off
Halogen, thanks very much![]()
I edited a bunch of posts and added drawings I forgot to previously scan or put online
I was on the muddy colors blog and got the idea of going to the smoking gun website and doing some random sketches of the colorful characters there. I think one or two were drawn from elsewhere-- the one is the 'hide ya kids, hide ya wife guy'

Wow, really good stuff! Juno and the one with the town and all the people are my faves so far, but I love them all! Nice to see ballpoint pen sketches too, I use it all the time.. keep them coming!
Thanks very much, Devilry![]()
Oh wow, great sketchbook so far! I'm loving your imaginative pieces and the
quality in your line drawings. And the fact that you drew Antoine haha
Keep up the hard work, it seems you're well on your way!
Pretty radYour stuff feels very Hollywood. I don't know why exactly that is, but it's a good thing!
How about some skin studies? Sometimes the "essence" of the skin is lost in your images.
Merry Christmas!
