Wasp old sb OMG i made a new one

Scroll down or go to page three!!! The stuff here is 3 years old!

    Some early studies

Did theese at school in history class. Heh, I have done most of my drawings in those classes...

Some shitty nose studies and some less shitty nose studies...Need to do some more eyes, too..

Did this early this summer, added some shading later on. As the odd angle and proportion indicates, there was no reference used.

The ackward man! As you can see, i gave up pretty quick, and he became...ackward.

    Ref used.

    And down!!

Thanx for stopping by, Method. Yeah, I definately need to work on my heads, as well as basic shapes and proportions. Thanx for the link, btw.

Edit: Tonights scetch. Not perfect, but few first-attempts are.

well i can certainly see that you know how to draw! i like the anatmy sketches they look pretty consistant. self portarits are a good way to improve your knowledge about the face shape. it also gets you used to drawing facial features. good work htough. keep it up!

Thanks, Josef! I really apreciate it I have been working on some faces and it`s features today. I plan to do this in the rest of the week.

    Todays "dump"

My very first life drawings. It`s hard to get it down right when the subject keeps on moving. I need harder light sources too.

The center man's facial anatomy is good, but the woman at the top has some problems. I think it's mostly the eyes seem unnatural. I know general crits like "something's off" aren't too much help, so I'll try to get specific. The problem with her face is that her eyes are too far up on her head, and this is what throws off the rest of the face, making the forehead too small and the nose too long. But definately the shape of the eyes is throwing things off too.

    heh, I hate noses too

But generally, your body anatomy is very good.

I'm not sure why I assumed it was a girl. I guess it could go either way. heh.

Did theese tonight. I know that the first one has a lot of...faults, but it was fun, and I got a little carried away.

Ref found at NomadSoul`s photo thread at EatPoo. Rushed the values a little. And the hands are too small...also, the arm are a little wonky...But hey! It was fun.

Update time. I feel that I have progressed since last post. I have done a lot more, but few of them were good enough to make it here.

    It's Marco!!

    References found at eatpoo.

The guy in the top left corner and the girl were drawn from reference.

dCepT: : Takk . I quit using a smudge stick months ago. All of the drawings in my last post was either done with a 0.3, 0.5 or 0.9 mechanical pencil, mostly 0.3 actually, for the lighter values.

van : Thanks man. I will try my best.

Summer Pudding : The thread was at page 5 I'm glad that you like my stuff. I remember how much I liked your speedpaints over at Sijun. Your colours remids me of Craig Mullins

Getting the eyesocket to look right is damn difficult! I think I shuld do more quick linework, or my rendering obsession will kill me.

btw: any kinds of constructive crit's are highly appreciated.
