    I want to mentor you

[edit May 19] Class is now full.

Hey there people of CA. I've recently discovered that one of the best ways to learn is actually to teach. In light of that, I'd like to find someone to mentor. My knowledge is limited and far from professional, but I do have a fairly good grasp of the basics. If you're a beginning artist looking for a better knowledge of anatomy, basic perspective, digital painting technique and color use then please let me know!

Have a look at my gallery - http://www.conceptart.org/?artist=626elemental
    Or my sketchbook - http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...d.php?t=128497

If you're interested, post here saying what your goals are, how much time you are available per week, and a link to some of your art

    hello 626elemental!
I've been drawing for ages an have a good grasp of illustration but would really like to develop digital painting skills. Of course anything you notice that I need to work on would be cool to fix. I have quite a bit of spare time at the moment and normally available at weekends

my sketchbook link is in my signature - only digi stuff tho

Hi 626elemental, I don't know how many people you are looking for, but I thought I would respond as well. I want to get better at figure drawing, drawing people from different angles, as well as drawing model sheets for 3d modeling. I have about 5 hours per week to draw.

I'm willing to learn to draw from you. I'm not an absolute beginner. I do know the basics, I folowed 10 years of drawing shool as hobby. However I stopped 2 years ago and last year I restarted.. Now I'm starting to paint digitally and willing to have a mentor. I'm 18years old, my 19th birthday is within a month. I'm having final terms within a month but I still have 10-15hours a week when I'm drawing (traditional and digitally). But after my finals I have 8hours+ a day.

Currently I'm studying anatomy, color and light. Also I still need a lot of experience on how to draw with pen pressure.

My sketchbook is in my signature.
You can add me to msn if you want: [email protected]

I hope you are willing to mentor me and I'm waiting for your response.

    -Tom

Is it too late to join?

I am an absolute beginner, and I don't have a Digital Tablet, if that's alright.

    I can work 10 to 20 hours a week.

For artwork, work check my signature.

    PS:
I may start classes again -to be announced- in the summer.

Sorry Flashback, I think I've got as many students as I can handle right now... I'll let you know if any of them drop out.
