Great work, I like the one of the boxers, looks so realistic.
Excellent, the boxers remind me one of Goya´s works. How exactly have you painted those monoprints? I guess you painted on them once done to define the shapes a bit, isn´t it?

The boxers reminded me of Steve Huston's work. Neat.
Respect to your artworks !
I really dig you b&w stuff, but the third one down is a mystery.
Are the boxers Steve Huston influenced?
Wow, very dynamic and textural stuff, love it all!
Amazing work!
Thanks a lot for your comments!
Badaboom > For the monoprints, i work on a large zinc board or on plexiglas board.
For the begining, i define big shape of black using a brayer to find the general lighting, after that i use various brushes (particulary chinese brushes) an other tools (Q-tips, rag, painting knife...), for clarify and develop the differents elements of the composition.
It's a good exercise, oblige you to work quickly.
The result you obtain after printing can be very different of the picture in the board.
egerie, Raoul Duke > Of course, Steve Huston is one of my influences, i like his dynamic vision of anatomy.
All those are great! And curiosly, although being traditional media, they look a lot like if they were digital painting
