Artwork idea

Hi everybody,
I have a question concerning my artwork for arts in school. The topic is "past - present - future" and I just finished the first step for my idea which is:
grapes, grapejuice and vine mixed together like a sort of paint
me, my father and my grandmother have to paint their hands and push 'em on the canvas.
Yep, and thats all for now i have imagined.
Now that question is:
What techniques could i use for the rest of the paint because the hands wouldn't be enough for me i think...

I hope some of you might have some ideas
