Hello there,

my name is Julia. I'm 20 years old and I'm studying intermedial design in Germany. A friend of mine wants that I get a sketchbook here - yay, here it is.
I hope I will learn some things here =)

2 collabs with AvisNocturna. That was so much fun. I think we will go on making collabs the next time =)

The 3 smaller pictures are my first tryings to paint with my Nintendo DS. I have to go on practising... But it's fun (but the colours looks terrible on the computerscreen )

Well, update after a long time. I did some things, but I'm to lazy to scan the drawings. Because of this, I show only some digital paintings.

First one is my current WIP, a fanart to Fullmetal Alchemist. The second one is also a FMA-Fanart, but it isn't new. I did it some weeks ago.
The other are nothing special, some were drawn with Nintendo DS

Very nice work! You're improving already. ^^
My only crit would be in some of your paintings your shading gets a bit muddy, try playing around with dark reds and such, instead of just brown? Im no expert, it just might help

ha ich hätte ja auch mal auf die Idee kommen können, nach deinem SB zu suchen lol

Ich will auf jeden Fall das "next Sergeant" richtig ausgearbeitet sehen, die Farbwahl gefällt mir unglaublich gut
Deine Strukturübungen finde ich auch richtig hammer, vorallem das mit der Rost-Optik. Sowas werd ich wohl auch mal machen (müssen) ^^

Sargent ist ein Künstler, der es übelst drauf hat mit Farben. Damit ich da irgendwann auch mal dahinter komme, mal ich ab und an was von seinen Bildern ab und das sind die hübschen Sargent-Studien. Entsprechend gibts da aber nicht mehr auszuarbeiten^^° abgemalt ist abgemalt und es kommt nur auf die Farben an XD

Für die Strukturübungen brauchts aber eher schon Photoshop. Da steckt viel an Ebeneneinstellungen dahinter und hier sogar viel an Fotos bei dem RostXD Obwohl man sich auch selbt mit Brushes was malen könnte als Grundlage zur Verarbeitung. Aber wenns darum geht, mehr Tricks in Photoshop zu lernen hab ich auch nicht den Anspruch, alles selbst zu malen. gibt so ne coole Tutorialseite mit der ich das alles gemacht hab. Alles in dem Posting mit dem Rost ist auf der Grundlage der tutorials entstanden. Fand ich sehr lehrreich. Ein paar Sachen (Rauch/Wolken, Augen, Lippen, ..) dürften sich auch ohne weiteres ohne PS umzusetzen lassen. Also wenn du Interesse am Link hast, einfach Bescheid sagen

Mal sehen, später will ich noch ein Speedpainting machen. Ich hab nen super viele neue tolle BRushes XD mal sehen was ich damit anstellen kann.

schade, ich hätte gern eine Ausarbeitung gesehen...
Vielleicht klau ich mir das Farbschema und mach was damit lol

Tutorials mag ich natürlich immer, aber ich hab so eine Vermutung, dass du GFX Artists meinst? XD
Da gibts ja ne Menge auf der Seite ^^ Ansonsten immer her damit

Deine Portraitübungen sind auch klasse, die wirken richtig locker. Vielleicht solltest du irgendwas von deiner Bleistiftarbeitsweise auf's digitale übertragen, das wirkt manchmal etwas steif

GFX Artists kannte ich noch gar nicht. Ich glaube, da schau ich mich auch mal ein bisschen um.

Hm, mal sehen wie ich das anstellen kann. Eigentlich kams nämlich erst vom digitalen dass ich analog lockerer werden konnte XD (es gibt nichts was so schlimm aussieht wie meine digitalen Skizzen für Bilder) Ist wohl nur etwas schwierig dass aufs Malen zu übertragen, wenns vor allem im Zeichnen steckt

Good work I totally dig your Sargent studies and Zelda is looking great so far. The bridgman and Loomis are good. I should take note and look at Loomis myself. Your pencils are good. I really like the first picture of the tree and the knight. Thats fab. Looking forward to more.
