Over the past few months I have been starting to think about what I want to do after high school, and then after college. I am a junior at the moment but the year is nearly over. I am 100% positive I want to do something related to art such as illustration or concept art.
However I have also found myself becoming more lazy. I now realize this problem and now I want to deal with it. I really feel I need someone to push me into working hard and challenging myself. As of now my artistic work-ethic is embarrassingly low, but the desire is definitely there. I just need that little 'shove'. And I'm not talking joining some class with lots of other people, or being expected to work hard without a teacher. I'm talking more one on one stuff. My school art teacher is great, but I only see him 40 minutes a day, 5 days a week.
In terms of being a student, I want to learn almost everything. I want to practice a lot of different things. Digital, pencil, and pen mostly in terms of medium. But subject-wise I want to learn to think much more creatively and freely. I want to learn to design my own little worlds, characters, designs, etc.
So if anyone thinks they would be interested in helping me out, I would appreciate it so much! Please let me know! Or if you need more info and whatnot tell me.
