Starting fresh... here's some work. (Some drawings NSFW? Not sure if that matters...)

I'm not entirely sure if some of this should be in Finally Finished or not... but who gives a shit. I'm new, here's some of my "beautiful work".


My first actual for real painting. Finished it on February 11th. I attribute a lot of the smooth lines to my boyfriend, who has been painting waaay longer than me.


I know, I know, it's immature, so sue me. It's kind of an inside joke as well.

I enjoy drawing cartoon people much more than realistic people because... well, I'm better at it than realism. Of course, I'd like to fix that, which I guess is why I'm here. I know the basics of drawing, about how everything can be boiled down into shapes, I know about how lighting works and all of that jazz... I guess the problem is that I haven't practiced enough with this knowledge and I can't bring it all together. I'm planning to take a life drawing class, and I also have some anatomy sketches that I was working on the other day that I'll scan in as soon as I get off of my lazy ass and do it, but for now, critique away.

What attitude? I'm genuinely interested in learning. As for the profanity... it's kinda how I talk. I can tone it down if it's that important.

Cartoons are stylized realism, if you don't know how something looks irl, then you will have a hard time drawing it cartoony
