My Struggle

Hi Everyone
I am 32 years old guy from Thailand.
As I remember I draw on every notebook in every subject when I was little.
I been want to be good at drawing for a long long time but confusing life,confusing mind and my laziness took me away from it for long time.
This year I ran out of excuses, I will draw and draw and draw
I don't know where this thing go but I hope it will bring peace to my mind.
any comments and crits are very welcome.

just got copy of Burne Hogarth book Dynamic anatomy and Dynamic Figure Drawing. I think it time for real study. These are some pages from the last few days.

I feel for you, I myself started to take drawing seriously very late, but I think it's never "too" late!
Keep them coming mate! I suggest you should draw skulls too.

the most important thing is to keep going and I will draw skull as you suggest.


hard for me to spend lot of time drawing in the last week,it is long holiday here in Thailand,friends and family thing came up
but I still try to draw every day

hey man really like your character designs
Just stick to those studies and you'll definetly see some improvement.
Oh and I usually find that by experimenting with my style or media (the type of thing you draw with e.g. pencils, oils, watercolors etc) I usually find that i can improve with that two.

After finish Head section form Hogarth anatomy book,I feel like it's not enough
so I decide to go through Loomis's Head and Hands book.
I plan to draw every picture in this book. This is where I start.
Been browsing few amazing sketch book on CA.
First It make me excited,but also make me feel like shit somehow.
I have to work harder.

the more I draw,I realize how suck I am
But I won't stop this time,failure is not at option.
the feeling that I should do something instead of let time pass by drag me down for too long. It's different this time.

apart from what I upload, I did 10+ pages of study from loomis book.
but I decide not to upload cos I think maybe too much download on the other side.

It will be great to get some feedbacks from you guys.

The determination you show in this sketchbook is really amazing.
The improvement for you is so QUICK.

You have a lot of great ideas that I think you can show more.
Never forget the studies! But I would like to see you do imaginative works. Don't forget to have fun with it =]

Keep going, you're going to be very good if you keep at it!

I really like your work, Im currently in a similar situation drawing everyday, Keep it up and you'll surprise yourself.

I suggest after going through a book, to try play with it, draw shapes and build from it, its fun and you can really see how you have improved

Dissociation Thanks for kind words, I did a lot of imaginative works in the past,but it never came out as I imagine.So I kind of focus on study this time.I still do some doodles when I feel like though.

I can definitely see progress in your last couple of drawings, those studies are really paying off. Keep working hard and have a positive attitude, btw I recognized that was Jason Statham right off the bat.

Just small update in the morning
SP and girl from head, I finally draw a girl that not look totally like guy.
