Just a 1 hour oil still life study tonight.

Cofa is great! It's quite chilled out/relaxed so you will like it for sure. Subjects are really conceptually based, but you will need to put in the hard yards for the practical side of things (Obviously). Can't say much more than that as I'm only just finishing up the first semester, but it appears the drawing/painting major would be extremely competitive. There's interesting people there, and many whom are talented.
Sounds like you are doing a related course, so when you finish just apply at UAC and you should get an offer!
Keep posting more works, I'll check back frequently as well!
Well I hope to get an offer, Ive looked into my options there, and im going to apply for the Bachelor of arts education. Im really hoping to get in, because that is really my best option. The only problem I really have is the travel lol. Im not looking forward to itIm heading out towrds Blacktown way, so im going to have to catch the train. Im not good with public transport lol.
A study of one of Davincis works, for a digital project. Ill have two more of these studies soon enough, I plan on manipulating them into my own images digitally.
Stuffs.
1 hour oil study of a friend.
Oil and acrylic on canvas.
More oils.
Hey, thought I'd drop by and say hello again!
Moved places a month n bit ago, and only just got the net recently and settled in, thus MIA
Just love your brushwork/technique, it's the sort of style I want to individualise for myself (if I get good at it) haha
One thing, with the last one, the figure looks great but I just find those blue lines a bit distracting. i.e. Makes it less inviting to enjoy the figure as a whole and appreciate its form.
Oils. First layer of paint.
1 hour conte portrait of my baby sister.
I haven't been here in ages, that's bad - my loss. Buuuut, it lets me see the contrast in your work in just the last year. You're doing so great Karein, keep it up.
Thanks for your kind words in my Sp book too.![]()
Awe, thank you Jigje.

The greatest achievement is selflessness.
The greatest worth is self-mastery.
The greatest quality is seeking to serve others.
Thanks Iceman, I'm glad you enjoyed them
Sure Andre, I'll try
I'm a little overwhelmed. I'm coming up to the end of my diploma, and i've been inundated with classwork, so my updates may be a little infrequent for the time being. Oh well, I'll post when I can.
Bouguereau study. 2 hours, 2b pencil.
3.5 hour nude study.
Beautiful, beautiful stuff! Your work has a lot of energy ^_^ I particularly love your pieces that mix textures or elements - like the oil painting on the map, or the paintings with a bit of flat blue floral patterning over top - it creates a conversation within the work that gives it that extra something![]()
Thank you ^^ I'm really glad you think so. Thanks for stopping by
Just a few lazy sketchbook drawings.
Life drawing today, first 10 minutes, second and third 15 minutes and fourth 35 minutes. I also have a group exhibition on tomorrow night which is pretty good. I have 9 pieces in.
Great works, #216 and #217 are absolutely amazing! Keep updating![]()
Thank you!I'll be able to update more now that I have finished class for the year.
3 hour oil self portrait. Planning to work on it more tomorrow.
A few line gestures, 5 minutes each. They are practice for the next Spartan camp, it will be the first one I've gone in.
great progress! Thanks for sharing! I like your drapery / folds drawings! Keep on posting!
Amazing work
The line work on your life drawings are so nice
I really need to step my game up
Thanks guys
Here's the rest of my spartan gestures. People 5 minutes animals 1.
You have nice figures and a colorful SBI'd love to see a great face and body combined one day... I often see good figures with dull/flawy faces in people's SBs, I guess it's because great expressive faces are hard to draw. It may be strange to me just because I mostly draw faces and I'm scared of drawing bodies...
I like your moleskin pages - if I hadn't bought my first moleskin a few days ago, I'd totally would want oneEven knowing that I can't buy skills.
Keep it up, would I say but you do that anyway. Best wishes ~
{I tried to write a normal, not empty comment, it took much time, I hope it doesn't sound too silly or anything. I write a lot but I'm not so good with expressing my thoughts I wish. Especially in a foreign language.}
These last sketches look goodSorry I have been gone, super busy these days.
I get where you are coming from Shinin, I do tend to focus on one or the other, So I will work on getting some full bodies doneSorry for the late reply, and i'm glad you stopped by ^^
Hey Sam, long time no seeIt's all good, I've been incredibly busy myself, starting Uni up. My Bachelor of Art Education is giving me not time to spare. Oh well, it has to be done. Glad to see you are well
Gestures done today from a friends video. I have more, but I thought I needed to post something. I'm really tired thoughUnder 90 seconds each, around an inch in size.
Edit: The image isn't showing and I have no idea why. I'll sort it out a little later.
