Seems like you sort of did it with the ice queen but here is a nice little excersize. First drawing something from observation and then take that all away and try drawing it from your memory as best you can

Mate you are doing great.Thats logical because of the hard work you do.Its always good to see a hard worker improving his art.If you use a lot of black for the shadows,reduce it,especially when the light source throws cold(in temperature) light.
WHen the light is warm by adding black in the lower value colors it makes them cold and thats ok because in warm light there are cold shadows.
But when the light is cold the shadows have to be warmer,so you add less black and more color.
Keep working in the ice queen.I think it will become a nice piece and a nice training.

i´m doing various stuff at the moment, don´t have a lot of time, i´m drawing anyway, everyday. i started drawing fight jets again, i´m doing some ref. practices, i´ll upload them later. i hope to start a detailed jet-paiting, with missiles and stuff-WOHOOOOOO

Jets are really freaking cool! Holy crap my library has this one crazy book that's HUGE!!! Like 19x 25. It's MASSIVE. Anyways there's a bunch of fighter jet photos in there. I love looking at them. I'm tottaly going to draw some jets now.

Try to use different colors in the shadows of your portraits (a grey-blue for example) otherwise the skintones look dirty very quickly!

I forget to mirror the painting sometimes ,too. It's a thing from the traditional stuff, I guess. ^^

hey mista, the to portraits are awesome consider that eyelashes arent black at all....mostly a dark brown!
now to the characterdesign you know its you weakness right now, so get out of you comfort zone and PRACTICE!
next time think of an more intresting view and pose (well, my ones suck, too ) and then consider the anatomy under the clothing (eg. the form of the torso isnt really convincing.....

i don´t think i have any time to draw this week busy school week is coming! hope to survive it´s a pity ,i have some non finished work. now i have to finish them later. in 1 1/2 weeks :´(
hope that i find some spare time, to do some drawings.so this is not the last update for along time.

i tried to work without the colour picker in the portrait of the woman.so i have an bigger diversity of colours.and it works.i suggest you not to work with the colour picker!

g´day guys.
after busy 2 weeks an update. anyway i did nearly everyday some pencil doodles.
started painting on this weekend again.some selfportraits. my best environment so far(still sucks, on holidays i´ll spent most of my time on that! promise)

erm, yes, going to croatia one week, extracurricular activities(yessss!, i´ve known years ago, when i´ve learned vocab. that one day i can use it!)
