What a great character in the last post! I love the combination of the long legs and overweight stomach.

You're doing some solid work in this sketchbook. My only crit is that there is some odd facial anatomy on some of your character sketches and portraits. I think it's because the values are a bit uneven, and makes the noses and eyebrows seem a little distorted.

    Keep up the great work!

Turnaround came out pretty nice, the coat's cool.
Just two cents i observed and which you probably already noticed: Look between his legs ,you foget to add the backside of the coat unless its divided And did he shaves his arm hairs on the right side? Maybe just to get that modelshot!

Enjoy your vaction, bro! See you soon!

Glad you are back! I hope your inspiration level has risen over 9000! after the trip to Turkey. The sketches look awesome, especially the doorway and the portrait. Really acurate that one.
What´s up with those dramatic fishies?

also i am working on the environment of the week. i´d love to hear your oppinion on those two colourschemes:

i am wondering why space is so blue...this must have something to do with waves and stuff ^^ i first wanted to go to a cyan-green-coldorange tone but then changed since it did not look convincing(like space)

Beautiful sketchbook. I love the space illustration. It reminds me of Eclipse Phase RPG.

I personally like the blue-tinted one.

Hey Cameli, thanks for stoping by and for your crit!

wellwell tried some Zbrush today...but then got lost in the endless worlds of zbrushs-menues in the end both skeches were lost (both because of the same problem^^ - guess i have to work along some tutorials first!
Here is some stuff i did today (or recently):
scribbled on a 2nd layer over the thumbnails - that was really worth it -revealed in which direction we want to go.
Also: logo for a t-shirt! EWBTE

    poor fishies, but great studies

Do you know what I´m missing in your pictures (at least in the last few pages)? The colors you use are mostly very cold, please gimme some green, yellow and red, please. Paint a winged unicorn flying over a dreamy landscape with rainbows or something. You can do it!

oh, and grats on your deserved COW win. Nice!

traditional stuff from yesterday, i start my daily exercises currently with some 90sec. drawings, trying out different media.
also some multilimbs from head, horsestudies, hands from life and photo and some negative space exercises.

You and your horses, lol. They look pretty sweet. Oh and I should do some of these negative space practices as well. They seem to be helpful. Your enviros also start to look pretty neat.
