It's cool man! That picture was from a wedding, so I shaved and stuff. Usually I'm much hairier and covered in blood, so it's pretty dead on actually.
Great--- Totally guessed that --- you were a werewolf!!!![]()

The chainmaille, surcoat, belt, boots, leather forearms, and gambeson were home made.
The metal legs and shoulders I found at a flea market for $75 (also got a cool rapier and funky helmet with that deal) They required a little bit of work and had to build a harness that could support them; used a weight belt and a few leather straps for that.
The sword ran me $100 (not a bad price for CAS/Iberia)
The dagger (hidden on other side) was $15
Thats at a Ren Faire in LA. Most of it meets SCA heavy combat regs, though I havent done SCA heavy combat in a long time. Its definately not LARP.
Here is one I did of Gerbil Fetus.

The proportions are slightly off, Grandma, but I can't put my finger on exactly how, so I let it slide... I'm a lazy artist.
Wow, alesoun. It is very cool, I did not expect to see that today. Thank you for sharing it.
My pleasure, Ed. But,sadly, it's still a bit wonky.......
Nice guys!! Here's one I'm sure was painted before, Lefran's eyes.. just a study

I lied in my last post. There will be no particular pattern to who I draw when.
Here's Jake Kobrin! The portrait has its fair share of spacing issues, but I think it turned out okay overall. I kept changing my mind as to what I wanted to do stylistically, so I just fiddled around with different things until I came up with this.
Also, they don't really count as portraits, but I was using lefran and Hari Gopinathan's eyes to quickly test the feasibility of drawing with Black Sharpie and White-Out on cardboard. I think I like the result.

Hookswords: Really cool and different style- gets across the character of the person brilliantly.
j.s. sabastian: I laughed in a good way.
Grandmassa: This is all kinds of awesome bundled into a pot of awesome and stirred with the holy spoon of greatness.
Hari: Very nice. Really like the background too
shamandalie: Depicted that picture really well.
Alesoun: Love all the drawings. I think the one of Edward is particularly good.
clintrussell: I absolutely love the sketchy style and it's beautifully done.
Kelly: Top notch as always. I like the more stylised element in there too.
chriskot: Again, another great style and painting.

I came across the photos of Odayga in the other thread and was instantly drawn in by the interesting shades and shadow therein so I had a go at one of them.
