Seeing your work inspires me to want to experiment with media again. For too long have I subjected myself to digital only.

Thanks Partisan, but if this is art we are all in trouble.

PK, Thanks. I don't show too often down there but am occasionally in group shows. I'll keep people posted at my blog.

    Hey Bill,
    Lovin' the work as always.
Very interesting the way you are controlling things with the 'painterly' accident stuff. Very much part of the image rather than a decorative add on. Good stuff.
    BTW, are these mostly acrylics?

That's the joy for me Chris, finding magic in the accidental textures. Paul Bonner works in a similar way. Yes these are mostly acrylics. A few have oil glaze finishes.

Thanks Bill, Where's your chimp? Bet you get asked that all the time.

Eleyon, the paintings are for the most part acrylic. This recent "monkey one" is acrylic on copper.

Wish I Could Paint Like Breughel

Couple more paintings finished. Both are acrylic, "Tangled Lances" is on panel and "Panda Bomb Squad" is on copper.
Tangled Lances or Begin with the Sound of the Golden Whistle (the title the puzzle company will go with) will be made in to a high quality wooden puzzle. They make kind of interesting puzzles with unique puzzle shapes, hippos etc., and package them beautifully.

Thanks Memento Mori, the goat rider piece seems to be a favorite. it was originally painted as a poster/fundraiser for our Fish and Game here. I finished the painting off in my way.

Then by all means come across the pond AvP, thanks.

    Seems Quiet

I feel like it's really quite here in FF but I'll keep doing my part.
Around the holidays I try to squeeze in a few inexpensive commissions to brighten the season. These were all pretty quick except for "With Double Red Bird Turbo Drive". That was for Jon Schindehette and I got a little carried away. That seems to happen too often with commissions. So I limit the number I do. I have no self control.

"She Knew the only Hope was the Rare Suction Teat Climbing Pig"
For my daughter commissioned by her boyfriend.

    "Bifocals"

    "It'll Grow Back"

    "Minion Stew"
    Playing with Clayboard

    "Neurotic"
I do commissions with one, two, or three word catalysts
