Mate this stuff is da bomb! Loving it. Pretty sure I have seen some of it before... like the gagged and blinded pencil drawing of the female on the first page.. maybe just internet de ja vous considering you don't live in the UK

Wow, great to get back from a fishing trip and find all of this positive response. Thank you. Dali allusions are kind but I'm unworthy. Do wish I could grow a mustache like that though. Belinda- Most of my work is done with acrylic with some pen in the drawings. Spectrum is a great book and I am happy to be in it. I juried the most recent, 17, which comes out in the Fall. Lots of great artmakers in this genre. Careful what you wish for pauscorpi, you may never leave.

    Anything with Tentacles

Just another painting. It seems easier to post these as I do them rather than saving for a dump. Hope I'm doing the right thing. 8 x 10 inches on copper.

I think you would have rarely gone wrong. It shows in the works. I think its better to post one piece at a time, since the timeframe for watching the piece increases, when many pieces are posted, some paintings might just get overlooked because of something else.
So I hope you keep updating this regularly.

I just so enjoy your posts Bcarman. Your Art is such that there are layers of interest and intent built into them. The latest is a case in point, in that I as a viewer now wonder at the delight that the maker had in designing and then making the glasses that are just for show, as they could not possibly work! That is just glorious. Very cool and the monocle on the little cup is a genius touch. Class!

    Couple More

Thanks again. I have people contacting me about doing animations. Someday, It's always someday, I'll have time to consider it. Right now I'm up to my armpits in shows and book stuff. Here are a couple of more small pieces. The light house thing was something that just kept haunting me. I almost never see something clearly before i paint of draw it but in this case it was different. Just kept showing up in my mind and sketchbook.
