on master studies, you can use guides, since your main subject of study is colors and values, not proportions.
don't foget to do stuff from mind w/ these!!! you have to implement all that gained knowledge somehow, or you're gonna lose it.

DRAW UNTILL IT HURTS
AND THEN DRAW SOME MORE
Ooh man!! What a sketch book!!![]()
And your last update, that 656th post is really a beaut!
So varied, and so nice studies!! I am really looking forward to seeing these finished, especially the value and the bikini girl
Also i think your reference-anatomy-digital painting approach from your recent posts is really a nice idea, witch i'll give a shot too.
Don't stop![]()
The latest updates are really really good man! Nice studies. You've improved so much. Really inspiring.
Keep 'em coming!![]()
Hey man, your stuff is looking good. Many of your works seem rushed as if your timed. One poster mentioned to take your time...I agree with them! Even if one drawing takes allllllllll day, keep at it. You're doing all this work for yourself, not anyone else. When you're drawing take some time to look at your work...if something doesn't look right then erase it and try as hard as possible to make it right. And if it still doesn't look right, do it again. You will learn much if you do this. Your figures are looking good, and that anatomy study you did is great. Let's see some stuff from pure imagination.
Great mate.Ok craig mullins have a lot of hard edges in there and little details but yours went all soft even if the brush had 100% hard maybe. You can make every edge even harder by picking small size brush and zoom in and fix the antialiasing of the edge (or play with shapes by using selection tool and then working a color in there
Keep going![]()

Tear it up today bro!
Now you're starting to push yourself you won't be able to stop. Once you find it easy and cosy, go that one extra step until that one is easy too. It gets totally addictive.
dont forget the sharpness of the shapes that consist this kind of image![]()

You rock man! Awesome dedication.
Mind the new soft bush you're using atm. You're overusing it a bit and making it look a bit muddy if that's the case than the just up the hardness or either add some textures on top of it to get rid of the smoothness. I'm not referring to a phototexture but just a texture brush. Try and check out some of Martha dahlig brushes. They're pretty good for that.
Dy.laneA: tomorrow :|
Black Spot: hah, i hope so
kingkostas: yeah....ive gotta practice that....
jordyskateboardy: thanks, ill try to avoid that!
didnt have much time today either :|

Studies are looking good! But your first one in the last post is looking rather manly compared to the original pic. Looks like you painted the shoulders and head wider. I wanna see you do some long ones from your head so we can see if the studies are sitting in!!!!

Very nice to see you're taking your time with the studiesYour colors are mega awesome. Maybe you should focus completely on anatomy now, like not coloring your anatomy studies and doing tons of Loomis?
Hey mang, lookin' pretty swank in here.
Just dropping by to say keep it up! I'm watching even if I'm not posting.
wow #669 is amazing I think it's a real good start for a finished illustration.
keep doing what you do, you are good at it![]()

http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1259798021
Viel Erfolg jedenfalls
