Thank you Marian, Acrylic and watercolor with a wee bit of color pencil. The bell was painted in acrylic and color pencil, known as a rough b/w comp. The next stage would be a tighter color version.

Man, I really dig your style. The storyboards on post 2561 for Boardwalk Empire blew me away, especially being a big fan of old noir detective style movies. The way you used smoke and your excellent composition kept the tension running to the end.

Still amazed Mike by what you create and what you can do with a charcoal pencil and newsprint. Still struggling myself to get control of both willow and charcoal pencils on newsprint but I always love the range more skilled artists get with it. Such great concepts, I don't know the games at all but all the images look so cool. Hopefully if I keep looking a little something , other than charcoal, will rub off on me!

Your work is a wonderful inspiration. The Polar Express thumbnails are great. I love the Game of Thrones imagery, and the subtle differences in detail between the two armies (the highlights and adjustments to the the weight of the lines around the soldiers) were immediately apparent, though at first I couldn't say why. Your demon is (unsurprisingly) fantastic. You sure as hell make me want to practice and work harder.
