lionheartGFX: Thank you! I'm actually revisiting the last environment to repaint a bunch of the city. I got some feedback on how to really push it. So I'll be posting the new version soon.

Got another environment on the way as well as a cover illustration. For now here are some studies for the illustration.

love that last one! drapery is a subject you could work a bit on, just a suggestion, read on the anatomy of the folds and stuff like that! hope to see alot more!

lionheartGFX: Thanks! I totally agree. Drapery and anatomy of folds are weak area of mine. After the semester is over I'll spend some time doing studies.

Sci Fi speedpaint. About 2 hours experimenting with the lasso and gradient tools.

PontusEuxinus: Thanks! Tonalism is basically keeping your values closer together through the piece and focusing on less of a high contrast image. Here is a link for more info. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tonalism

Here are some concepts that I did last year, but haven't been able to post them until now. It was a class project that we pitched to Valve for their game Team Fortress 2. We all had to design a main weapon, a secondary weapon, and a vanity item.

Well TAD has come to an end for me. It has been a crazy 2.5 years and I can't believe it is all over. It went so fast. I want to thank all the teachers, mentors, and community members that helped to push me to this point. I will continue to work hard to improve and see how far I can go.

As a New Year starts one of my main goals is to become a stronger designer. So to practice this I will be doing 30 - 90 minute lunch sketches between freelance work. I will be trying to push my lighting, forms, composition, design, and mood. So here it goes.
