    Welcome to CA.
You got very good start. I like it that you keep drawing loose instead of focusing very early on details. I think what would really improve your art is trying to simplify the planes and mass shadows a bit so that the form is more readable and elegant.

You got something example of how to approach that in Nathan Fowkes blog:
    http://nathanfowkes.blogspot.com/200...wing-demo.html
Also check out overpaint by Greg Pro here (in #12 post) : http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho....php?p=2074018

    Hope it helps.

    Keep posting.

Farvus thanks so much! I really want to improve black and white as I find it so difficult, thank you for the links..its been really very helpful!

    both are studies

These were mostly done from Janurary to now, have tried putting them in some sort of order that I did them. Theres a lot of little red riding hood because my my final project at uni was based around little red. Will promise to post more sketchbook and anatomy studies!

ps- thanks phiq for the encouragement!

Reall good stuff! I think your strongest pieces are the full environment pieces, like the ones with the little girl walking through the town. They show great detail and compisition. I find my eyes looking over the entire image to absorb the whole thing.

phiq - hey man! thanks took me a little while to figure out how to make one..kept clicking the wrong button until I saw "avatar" *facepalm*

keith_v- thank you so much! Its funny because I think my weakest points are environments. I used a few references here and there for them and places like France ( which I love to bits)

some more sketchbook work and studies. I never know what to show from my sketch books. I left out the weird Illustration stuff and put some studies on here instead
