Hi everyone.
So I have this idea for a little project I'm working on... and at the moment I'm just experimenting with ideas to make "inkblot animals" and things... Thought while I was experimenting I'd upload a pic for you guys to see, and ask for some feedback on the butterfly part of this WIP. Is there anything you can suggest to make the butterfly more readable? Perhaps a different way to use my brush strokes or anything, and to better define a sense of distance between one wing and another (in the current WIP, there's just a transparent white layer overlaying the distant wing, without it, the two wings have the same amount of blackness, they become mixed and confusing).
Anyway, um... Bit of a long rant there, thanks for reading and thanks in advance for any advice you can give.
One more note: The colours on the ink blot are vibrant and over-saturated intentionally, but if you think I should tone it down then of course just say so!
