I'm new over here & im on with some character designing,too...i like the details& ornaments in ure characters..But i really think that the anatomy of the figures should have more grace..i see u've studied anatomy & i think if the figures would be stretched a little ure costume & weaponry details would shine...What do u think??

I've seen your galery dude and i know what you meant by that. But they are dwarfs after all and shouldn't really have any graceful features. I will post some new stuff i am working on and you let me know what you think then

    Thanks for the post!

I'm not too fond of fantasy so I can't say anything about the dwarfs.

I definitely like your studies though, very illustrative and they feel sort of 3dish - I especially adore the head. Keep it coming!

    Hey man,

Cool stuff, but i think you should try giving your dwarfs some more 'open' poses. Now they look just like 1 block, ok a dwarf isn't verry gracious but when its just one block they don't look so interresting.

A little tip is that you just go into photoshop and make the total drawing itself black (silhouet) and when it looks interesting the pose will be good, but if it looks like a block with some attachments on it, it will be dull :p

Hopefully you get what i mean :p

    Grts !

No i don't get what you mean dude! But if the fact they stand still is a problem, i will try and make more dinamic compositions next time.

PS: remind me about any spelling problems i have

BTW, the reason the line in the last drawing with the demon is soo crappy is because i wanted to photoshop it and make it stand out bellow the grey layer i added.

Unfertunately i'll stop working on it for now cos i got a heck load of work to do for school... and... i don't have one of those graphic tablet thingies . but i'm doing my best with Mr. Mouse.

    take care!

Hey man! Glad to see you've started your sketchbook! I love the rendering and texturing on the dwarves. They look so dark and grim. But you really should try more dynamic poses. Look at the outline (contur) of the drawing and if you see just one round thingy or a rectangle then the pose is dull, spice it up. Keep those drawings coming. The community is great here, they will help you grow and get better, by giving helpful input.

    Also here's your intro corrected:

Really good shading i can see that you got the patience needed for that. Overall i must say your images are very meticolusly done and just beatiful too rest your eye at.
Anyways i want too see more!

    Talking

I don't think so man. It's suposed to be one of the two axes of Grimnir... so ... it's pretty much supposed to be 1 handed. I prefer it that way... pretty much to lift for poor Felix as it is

PS: Thanks for the kind words Gorgoleon
