There is good movement and action in your drawings.
I think the Leonardo piece is good, but I think it could use some crisper edges and tighter surface material work in places of interest, depending on what you're after. The blood could also serve as a stronger contrast to the green of his skin.
The pencil tests look interesting, are you a student of animation perhaps? It's been a while since I made one of those myself.
Keep it up.

You've interesting ideas on imaginative side. However I'd suggest more anatomy practice, like dynamic figuredrawing, and work on your rendering skill (maybe some reference painting).

Great sketchbook! I know digital is all the rage, but I'm a big fan of traditional and your pencils are pretty sick. Love the detail in your character designs.

I'm diggin the leonardo pic, but the muscles and structure of the arm seem a bit wonky in my opinion. They seem like they are forshortened a bit too much, like there is mass missing.

Nice figure dynamics!, congrats on winning character forge as well. i like Rotor's comment about edges, i think some studies would help you
to elevate your awesomeness!!

Hey Armando, great progress. I was always a big fan of your pencil work and comics but it's great to see you bringing your digital work up to the same level. I love all the pencils and the silver surfer piece. My only suggestion for it is that it might look good if the back of the board and hand edges were blurred to create more feeling of depth and movement. What do you think?
YES, like others have said, i also really feel your pencil work, its rich. also, your most recent work: i think its pretty impressive to come up with so many unique designs which are similar to each other, but still varying. nice work
This sketchbook is so beautiful! Your hand studies are incredible, are you using pictures for references or are you drawing them from your head?
Half are from my head.
A sketch of a character from my comic. He's basically supposed to represent a knight. But since the culture is thousands of years more advanced than us it made sense for him not to be clothed in armor. It's kind of like Kevlar or some type of synthetic cloth thousands of years more advanced. Strong without the clunkiness of metal armor.

Nice! I especially like your drawings, the alien characters and such. You are developing a very cool and distinctive look to your drawings. Keep doing that! Keep drawing and pushing your individual way of drawing! Nice stuff, gotta go look over previous pages now.
daaaaamn nothing to critique but to tell you to always push things further, in some aspects you are really at industry level..at others you could work a bit more towards that goal, but all in all its great to see you are able to whip out original stuff that is the most important thing, now just keep working on your head stuff while also pushing your finishing and rendering further, im sure you are not comfortable with the way you are now i can see that because of how hard you are working but take a few minutes to make a through critique of your own work, compare it with the people already working, see what differs what could you improve on? i dont know maybe its lighting or composition or value or color contrast whatever it may be make a concious effort to work on THAT and clear ANY major doubts you may have! cant wait to see more stuff from you!
keep on rocking!
my sketchbook! Drawing like a maniac!!

Nice work! Donatello vs. Rockstead is very cool. Would say to watch going too much to black though in the darker areas, can get a bit muddy if you're not careful. There's usually a lot of colours kicking around in the shadows!
awesome art man...lovin those dramatic angles on those TMNT pieces..... tight!

fantastic detail in your traditional work and love the digital pieces as well! i like the TMNT piece!
Goodday Mr Armando. I really enjoy some of these latest pieces of yours especially the Leonardo piece. One thing I have thought of is that I really think you should try paint some tradtional like oil for example. I think that would take your pieces to ze next level. One more thing have you updated your awesome comic since sometime before summer?
Stay bacon.
The figures from your head are great dude, very dynamic. Your pieces certainly have a strong sense of motion and action. keep going
Veshkau- Thanks for the advice
Charles Ratteray- Thanks
~KJK~- Thanks
Baconstrap- Thanks!
I can't afford to work with oils. Also, I gave up on the comic.
Ghast- Thanks
