    From the beginning now?

Ok, so here's the sketch with my values underneath. How's it look? Anything blindingly wrong?

Right now, it feels like there are a lot of similar values - no really dark darks, no really light focal points.

I find mapping the values first and then working on the hues to be counter intuative. Mostly because your value structure/color temp/pallet should all relate.
    SEPERATE:
You are working the peice up in such distinct layers, all with the same intensity of dark and light, and it really flattens them down. The whole picture should be cohesive, not just its parts.

Here are some things to think about: higher contrast forgrounds, with warmer more saturated colors, If a color is used on one object it should probably be used on all of the objects in the scene (in a vague way, like the color green, not the specific hue) As things recede, put less detail into them and also really think about forshortening the lower arm and making the teeth less white and less iconic. Think about making REAL teeth, ivory doritos arent scary.
