    Way to god

My original intend was to play with flames and fabric drifting in hot air. But than I focus more and more to the character which si burning, and to historical stilization of painting.

Hey bro, this is pretty wicked, I love the firey effect you've managed to create. Be careful though with the modeling of the lady's figure as you get to her legs, they seem like they're disappearing and warping badly, just a thought.

Proportions on the face are looking good though. Mmm, I would think about some more values on the face maybe, but it's your painting, these are just some ideas.

Keep up the fun works bro, looks like you're having a great time with these paintings. =)

Yeh, the legs should be fixed, actually they should warp around the cross, but this way it's not really expressive and realistic.

As for the face color - no I really want life-less gothic body and face baked by the fire. The fire rulez, the person obey. Yeh, wicked, I agree.

I like the way you think - is it so obvious?

There I tried to express the translucency of tisue inspirated by photos of prenatal childern, jellyfish or other biological samples under microscope, with some immersion oil layer or such things

    Which version you like better?

Is it necessary put there "nudity warrning" because of this picture?

I'm an adult. I just try to have a childish imagination.
That is a nice try. Glass is more of a area of reflection than a translucent material. Reflections are more of light void of shadows, and with light under the glass will show a glow, of dirt, smudges, and anything left on the surface. I draw glass as a layer with only reflections and a color to colored glass. Edges of glass can glow like fiber optics with a light under it. I have drawn a lot of glass, and glass marbles type thing. If you draw what would look like a mirror image of the microscope above on the glass and fade it, that would make the glass look a lot better. When I first stared drawing glass I wondered what would be in front of the glass. A guy looking at his monitor? But that was when I had an idea to making it look like the glass on the computer was broke. Everything else I try to draw the world it is in. It might be hard drawing everything around in a reflection, and it helps to try doing mirrors first, then fade it to just glass, but in glass just the light areas are in the reflections, shadows are invisible.

Lol.. bro, this is SICK!!! You know that!! The second one seems to have more mature colour, that appeals to me the most and feels more real imho.
It looks like a challenging colour study.. so can't really help you, but good luck with detailing it if you are taking it any further. Have fun with your next drawing bro. =)

Eek! That's really cool. Agree with Achips about the glass though, right now it looks to me more like a sheet of metal under her for some reason.

yeh, you are right about the glass. Problem with glass is that if it's flat, clear and there is nothing to reflect, so it's completly transparent and nothing can be paint Just spectaculr reflections, but it's not good to make many hot spots, because it fragment destroy overall picture.

    Red and Green Lady

I'm not good at finishing things, because I must always put it out for long time to be objective. And also it's more fun to start something new, and good sketch has bigger value than tweaks.

So there are some new stuff
This is made from watercolor picture of my friend Peter Kohut (the first small picture) by photoshop

    Tank on legs

    Some sketches of walking tanks

These tanks has fixed canon in torso, so tank can aim by changing it's pose by legs. It can fire wile jumping like "Parthian shot" of horseriders, or it can use back leg as solid support while standing and fire as artilery.

The tire fuction as damping foot but possibly can be used for running (like sketing? )

    charge of wing hussars

I really love classical battlefield painting and I also love the polish film Ogniem i Mieczem with these wing hussars.

This is my try to express the majesty of cavalry charge on open filed. In contrast to some bad modern and medieval batlefield painjting I want here to have enought of space.

These are sam fast sketches how it should look like. It's really hard for me to paint these hores well if I try to add details.

    etheric skin

Hi, I trying to catch etheric skin and hairs, a bit translucent, very soft and very fragile. Should look a bit like some sea creature
(jellyfish for example). The face anatomy is not very good, I know. This wasn't the main concern however.

Good way how to do it is combine soft airbrush-like brushes pressure on opacity (not flow!) and sharp edges by fine thin brush.
Median filter helps a lot to smooth things up without to much of blur.

    Sidge of Skyscraper

There is some quick paint of postapocapiptic-medieval siege of skyscraper, rather than modern skyscraper it should be more like big eastern communistic

    Open TOKAMAK spaceship

There I tied to gues some physically realistic spaceship solution. It§s not made to be visually so appealing, but rather to describe main functional features.

The main idea is that nuclear fussion power is the only one to bring high thrust and high specific impulse simultaneously. The bigger the magnetic chamber the more effective (the slower it's plasma loose temperature). So you need really big chamber and thus really big ship ( I like big ships ) Because you has still limited thrust, and you wan't as high acceleration as possible, the ship should be light => most of to ship is just the propulstion system. the rest is gun. You don't need much more than pripulsion and gun on battleship. Asspecially you don't want to carry many people and compartment.

    Oh my beautiful weapon

You can think watever, but I realy like this weapon , in fact that's partly why I studied physics.

So I was always wanted to be able to paint such a inhouman power and majestic element of nature. Now I take all confidence and corage and try to paint it. I know, It's not nearly as good awsome as the real one, but still I'm quite happy for the improvement ability to express my lovely weapons

    Nuke starts

Actually I'm nots sure if the initial sketches wasnt better than the later more detailed version. I always lose a bit of overal shape expression composition and lightning when I stard to paint details. Must take care of this next time.

    Mexican Theme

This was pictures for my friend who wanted it as a pesent for his friend in Mexico

First was the corped version (wich is more dramatic), than i tied to extend it upwards and paint whole body of woman just beause I like woman bodies. It however lost a buit of drama.

The second picture of conquistador is not yet very finished

I dig your bold compositions. They need work, but they also show a really passion to try new things. This kind of exploration is vital to learning, and will continue to aid you as you progress. Good start to your book.

    Fights of angels

Hi, because I like to play Dark messiah, mortal combat, Heroes of Might and magic, Mout & Blade and IL-2 Sturmovik, logical step would be to make a game about physical-based melee fighting angels with good aerodynamic model.

So, I'm trying to paint some sketches about how angels actually can fight
