House of Scratch is up and running and we are looking for YOU! Ever been called weird? Working in an artistic style that might be considered surreal? House of Scratch is a new website dedicated to showcasing only the best in surrealistic, visionary, sci-fi, horror, psychedelic, esoteric, outsider, lowbrow and fantastic art and we bet your work would fit right in.
10 artists are picked every month to be in our online exhibition. The show is viewable for an entire month during which the online community can become honorary jurors. Their valuable input will help us pick the “Best of the Best” artist in the competition. Since the House of Scratch team believes it’s not enough to have just an online presence, we’re also going to be putting on a physical gallery show. The artists deemed “Best of the Best” every month will be offered spots in the physical show. Once we have enough artists under the banner of “Best of the Best”, we’re going to mount a spectacular gallery show of some of the best surreal and visionary work the art community has to offer! It’s really going to be something.
