Great start to your SB! I especially love the hand studies... and the freaky frog lady.
The amphibious duchess is awesome. Hehe.
The first step - especially for young people with energy and drive and talent, but not money - the first step to controlling your world is to control your culture. To model and demonstrate the kind of world you demand to live in. To write the books. Make the music. Shoot the films. Paint the art.

I got a tablet hee! No more laptop track pad for me. Well, a new medium to play around with. Yep yep.
Hey there. Thanks for your comment in the Critique Center on the troll illustration. I hope you enjoy the tablet. One thing that's odd with them at first is just the slick feel of the surface. Some people tape a piece of paper on top of them to get that feeling.
Good work on the anatomy studies so far, and I like your cartooning style too. I think you've got a good handle on contours so far, so it would be good if you posted some pieces with more shading and volume. The frog duchess is the strongest in that direction, but even it could go further. (I like the fly on the dinner plate, btw. And cleavage on a frog... *snort*)
Take a look at my series of in-depth critiques, like this one of Salvador Dali's hidden portrait of Lincoln.
Scott's Sketchbook: Check out my sketchbook. Will swap C&Cs.

Nice sketchbook! Snail lady will probably haunt my dreams now.
Her upper arms seem a bit long to me, though.
Re. earlier work: is that mug cake/cupcake-in-a-mug?![]()
@LordLouis
Thanks! Most of the life drawing was from my sophomore life-drawing class. I'm out of school now, so life drawing is coming very slow. I have to find someplace in the area where I can go practice.
@habrok
it's a cake in a mug, but it's in the mug because it was falling apart and i needed to paint it.![]()
it's been a long while since I've updated. I've forgotten how fun digital painting is![]()
