ahhh well F it, it got kicked back to critique center...i don't think it sucks though!
I like the colors in the bg a lot, but on the actual figure and all of her clothes, there is a lot of black in the shadows. Seems harsh next to that dreamy-colored bg.
Also, I'm cringing at the way you cropped off her lower leg right beneath the knee. That leg is waaaay too low anyway (follow the leg up to where her butt is, and then make note of how crazy-long her thigh would have to be to make that connection).

gotcha...thanks!
actually you're waay right. I just checked my reference on the legs...
I'll fix this and repost it tomorrow...
Looking forward to it.![]()

Your colors seem a bit muddy. Don't be afraid to go to the more saturated area of the color pallet at times. I'm not critting your anatomy as you'll update.
I like her skirt.
here's another piece I'm working on as well, it started in oil, now it's digital...I'm getting there.
MW, this one is much better. Your anatomy looks good and your colors create a dramatic realism to this piece. Even her facial features are better defined. Very nice!![]()
"Creativity emerges only when the imagination is given the freedom it deserves."
In the second one, her eyes are looking in different directions and her arm looks too short and bends oddly.
Wonder woman has problems with her neck region. The clavicles should'nt curve down like that, but rather come across, horizontally, from her shoulders to almost meet in the middle. Their ends should form a pit at the base of the neck into which the sterno-cleido mastoids plunge. Check the forearms versus the arms- you've drawn the forearms too short and the arms too long. Looks like you tried to foreshorten the left forearm, but I can't tell.

Just wanted to get some other eyes on this. It's uploading with less contrast than my original has, but that always happens when I upload to this site...
thanks for all the help so far!
I agree with Razorleaf, your second painting is much better, at least as far as the female character goes.
Your Wonder Woman pose is a little odd in my opinion. Her upper body is facing forward with a light twist to the left, but her legs seem to turn left completely, especially the folded one. There is also some stiffness in her neck, torso and arms, and I think maybe what you're trying to convey (I imagine that being "WW floats down magestically") could work better with a looser pose.
I hope you don't mind, I tried a quick sketch over your painting to show you what I mean. (now that I look at it, I might have given her too much of a bend at the waist, and a straighter body would work better for both "majestic" and "floting down".)
no that's great, thanks!
here's a basic reference I was using...
