J.C.´s sketchbook

Hello to all of you guys, im a new kid in this town, so please excuse me if i do something wrong.
This is the J.C. Andrew sketchbook or better known as CATARTXIS.

I mainly do my drawings on paper and then hopefully paint them on the computer.
I expect to recive your comments and of course some good ol fashion constructive criticism. And if in any way i can be of help, please no hesitate into send me a message.

Also if you have any recomendations on how to improve my art and my sketchbook, please do so. Its more than welcome.
This will be my first post/image, called space-cowboy and i hope to keep a constant stream of drawings here.

I really like his face and the shading is really nice. I'd like to see more than just one drawing though.
Also, just curious... what are the tubes coming out of his helmet for?
