The background is pastel with prismacolour pencils to bring out the halo; the dog and clothing is prismacolour marker (with some cool grey copics for shading) with prismacolour pencil highlights and details.
I have a more in-depth reason behind this, but I think it's refreshing to see what other people see when they look at this picture.

It's an interesting play on words...but that's really all I see.
The right hand is way too big.

And that's fine too- some people see more meaning in it than others, after all.
If there was a way to go back and fix the hand, I think I'd go back and fix it- I usually draw small, and I guess my proportions got messed up when I drew on such a big piece of paper. Thanks!

I would have to disagree, there's no way perspective would account for the absolute hugeness of that hand unless it was some weird attempt at foreshortening. Which really doesn't make sense since the hand isn't coming towards us.
The eyes also seem alien and distant. The shading making them seem altogether separate entities from the rest of the face. The other hand is particularly large as well and well as a catholic those rosary beads seem more like the Buddhist variety (rosary beads are traditionally rather small and the size you have them at make them seem very large)

I'm not very good with people yet- I guess it's kinda obvious! Maybe I should spend some more time with the sketch before I start adding markers next time. :3
The eyes I can fix, though; and when I get back from the Holidays I'll add eyelids and fix up the shading. Thanks for the critiques!
