Phew! Took a lot of work, but I managed to salvage what I could. It turned into more of a rendering excersize than anything in the end. It's not the best, but I'm gonna learn from my mistakes for next time rather than try and make this one better.
This was oils at first... but I ended up fine tuning it in photoshop. I feel like I've broken some ancient law, merging the two, and released hell's fury onto Earth for 1000 days, and 1000 nights. But meh.

Well your eye crit definitely helped. I changed them around a bit.
And I noticed that in the ref I was using the shoulders looked different to the way I had done them so I fixed them up to. Thanks!

The snout seems a bit long in my honest opinion. The facial shape for me looks more like a leopards, but, as I said, it might just be me. O.o

Hi. I think it lacks 'grounding' if you take my meaning. As with Lastro, I think the head feels a little heavy and not as refined or elfin like a cheetah? All just my opinion of course and am sure you will take what you will. I think, of my knowledge of cats - the ears suggest anger and purpose. The eyes look afraid.

Wow, damned if I can figure out why this got moved to the critique center. Seen a lot of nice pieces moved lately and many iffy ones left in the finished section. I guess its just a judgement call by the moderators? Seems odd.

Yes, it does. I have long snout drawing syndrome. You should see my lion noses. Must break out of that habit... thanks for that!
