The concrete pipe one looks way better now, but my advice is to avoid using a small brush to shade/render like you would with a pencil; it makes pecky marks and a scruffy, unfinished appearance (not in a good way). Also, the top of the closest pipe shouldn't be sloping up. The one behind it is pretty much level with the horizon, so the incline makes the nearest one look out of perspective.

Not a bad sketchbook here. I really dig the sculptures, man!

A lot of your paintings are nice and simple. They look like good practice.

You definitely have a very unique vision. I especially liked the first self portrait and the sculptures. Also, your sense of composition in the landscapes is quite unique which makes them intriguing. Keep posting, excellent work.

Thank you guys for your replies!

I haven't been able to update this week, I'm on the final exams. Today I have two sketches for the same piece (the castle ones), some random doodle I made yesterday, two drawn characters and some progress on my sculpture.

Nice stuff man! Keep working hard, and it's cool that you're experimenting with a bunch of different mediums. Keep drawing and sculpting like crazy and you'll get there. Keep on truckin'!

Hi! Thanks Ookchk for the reply!

Today I've got some trash fairies, two little drawings using Prom's technique and three pieces, all traditional, based on some digital works.

Any advice on the rendering of the yellow bird would be helpful, I'm having trouble with that.

Hey, thanks for dropping by my SB and huge thanks for the advice, I get what you mean.
You got some really cool stuff going on here and lots of different mediums, I like it.

I like the last bunch of paintings, they have interesting environments. I don't know if it's because of a bad picture but I think the colours seem a little washed out or they lack strong shadows. Maybe push the values more?
You are doing well, keep it up and good luck with the exams!

Hey man good stuff. Some of your latest paintings turned out pretty good, but what I think I'm seeing is your paintings look rough for roughs sake. If i'm correct make sure each part of your process has a purpose in order to move the picture along properly. That's the problem I'm having with my stuff. Aside from that I like the spontaneity and creativity.

Keep it up and keep posting!

I like the fact that you're working with a number of different mediums- sculpture, digital, traditional.

In particular, I like the second twig sculpture you did, the figure slightly hunched over. The front has a lot more mass than the back, giving it a nice, powerful pose and interesting anatomy. Fourth one is also good, nice use of plastic for a cape

Inventive work with the sculptures, really. I'm impressed, might have to try my own!

Your sculptures are awesome. I don't know if you've heard about the new movie "9" coming out, but that is what it reminded me of. I'd be interested to see the finished product on that pirate painting.

posting a little doodle i've made today, a costume design for a giant. Not working too much in photoshop these days, i've got loads of work designing some costumes. I'll try to post more pencils as soon as possible, but my camera is broken and I'll be all the month without it.

Sorry for no posting. I've been really busy preparing a summer camp.
Here you have some dream sketches, some Prom|ANJ inspired work, and the cover for the summercamp songbook(background taken from another image).
    Hope you like it!

    Cool stuff!
Any update on the Anubis/dog faced god sculpture? I'd really like to know where it is going.
You also have so really good character concepts, I'd like to see more finished stuff! When you are not too busy, maybe finish the chariot-thing?
    Keep it up.

i nfind this sketchbook very interesting with all the variation in here, i like that you draw so much fantasy stuff, i think maybe you could spend a bit mor time on your lighting & shadows to give a more finished look when your rendering,. your alien characters rock by the way
