im starting a sketchbook to help me improve my art of course, all comments and crits welcome.

start off with some life drawing, finally getting used to being on a forum, im not proud to say its taken me about 2 hours to learn how to post images. also terrible quality is due to being too large for the scanner

thanks, ive been taking life drawing classes for a few years now. i wish i had a wider range of things to post but hopefully now that im working on university portfolios i will soon

the paint ones were fun to do but i should definately use posemaniacs or something next time so i get my proportions right. the life drawing was difficult as well, i just couldnt get the legs right

guess what game i've been playing haha, i love the concept art from it, matt rhodes is becoming a influence!
i've got a lot of recent life drawing that id love to put up here but the photographs i take of it never turn out right :/
i think that elf at the bottom is my favourite thing ive ever drawn...im not quite sure if thats pretty good or very very bad in itself

i still need so much practice with painting though, hence these animals. the refs came with digitalfx and they took about 15 minutes each

oil painting, im not pleased with how it scanned it whited it out (the background is a very light blue instead of white)

so SO many imperfections but i believe its progress, i've always struggled with oil paints
