    Finally an update!

I like the way how you handled the colors on your last drawing. The texture of your sketchbook really fits. Good job.

    Beautiful linearts! *O*
I love the ink sketches of the dogs. Simple yet effective.
The gesture drawings are beautiful as well, and the fishes too.

@NickyBeats, haha, this may sound weird, but your name did cross my mind when i drew it :p
    @Veshkau, thanks!

I was a bit reluctant to but this video on my blog and this sketchbook because it's nowhere near being finished. I tried to make the world/planet, Atar, feel artificial, almost mechanical so i worked with both classic animation and stop motion. Anyway, the film was an experimentation, so expect more improvements (and finished stuff) soon.

Oh female, how come I missed this sketchbook. What's going on your mind? You have some great ideas allaround. Like the photos on page2 too. However this one really let me stop and think for a while. Yeah for a while. I felt its personal before I read your description, so... BTW, I thought your world could become really popular but you have to add missing ".va..." to the name

That sneezing guy animation above is brutal.
I like the way how he implodes and explodes at the
same time, loosing a few of his front teeth. That is
just pure violence. He lost his breakfast in a morbid
fashion. Made me shiver. The rest of the sketches
and masterpieces in those post are really gruesome.
You just know how to put things together. You have
that sense for lineart, you have that special something.
But why is that female so pregnant and hairy at the same time?
Could she be only hairy and not pregnant? I like the concept
about the lines falling out from her vagina. She is creating
art in a spread legged fashion.
I visited your blog and I am happy that you started it.
    Everything looks great there.
And those mustaches looks so good on you.
That is a real sexy gif animation, please keep
    up with your beautifulness.

Mmm, nice gestures in the last pages (dunno what was before that, I didn't look at them yet). I can't comment your more abstract creative stuff What what could I say then? You have anatomy skills and various ideas, you surely know what are you doing.
So no advices or crits here.

Wow, the upper right page in your last post is very cool, you managed to vary your line thickness in a nice way; that upper-body figure is looking good, as well as the overlaid heart; and I like how you painted your sketchbook page, it can make for interesting, non-plain backgrounds. I don't know if you're into drawing comics, but that kind of "collage" could be totally viable as a style to develop and apply to a whole comic book page.

Other than that, I like your experimentations on a general basis, your posts are very much varied in terms of subjects, techniques, figurative/abstractness, etc. You still have to gain confidence with your linework, but you have an creative mind for sure.

Hey, mate! About time I checked up on your stuff. I love your line work, and pictures where you inject a bit of colour too(like in post 395), reminds me of things we've been having to do in fashion illustration, looks very classy.

Anyways, nice progress so far and some interesting concepts. Keep it up!

Thanks for explaining it Jr.Molcak :p

@Seagulls, I'm glad you like it, eventhough i'm not too fond of it myself :p I'm working a new project tho and should have a new video up in a few months

@LtPlissken, i had a feeling you would like that one :p

@Krysjez, yes that's gesso I've never used it the way you're suppose to use it I guess I don't think i even have any clue how to use it properly but i love to work with it in my sketchbook :p

@Mahw, thank you very much, i think i'm gonna do more drawings like the one with the heart and try not to overthink things too much because you're right, i do need to grow in my confidence in my linework.
And yes I'm from Belgium but from the Flemish part so my French isn't really fantastic :p

    @Naidy, thanks

Haven't been updating so much, i've been ahving problems with my new animation, seems like every idea i got isn't pleasing my teachers so i keep starting over again x.x
    Anyways, some drawings for now..

Hey Lav. Thanks for commenting on my sketchbook. I was thinking about you the other day. It's cool seeing your animations up on here. I agree with others that you should be more confident with your line quality but that will happen over time.

I really need the help of you guys. If I have one major weakness (who am i kidding, i have many) then it has to be using colour. I'm currently working on a portrait and I think I could really get some pointers on using colour.
Keep in mind tho, and i'm not using this as an excuse at all, but i prefer rather flat drawings. I guess I'm a lineair drawer and when i think of "filling up" those lines i rather see something basic without necessarily looking cartoony. Anyways, this is what i got so far

Also: I think I badly need to calibrate my screen, so I'm not even sure how this looks to the rest of you

This is looking nice sofar. You colored it real gently.
Well, about the colors, my personal experience is that you
cannot get wildly into coloring if you do not see the basic values,
so that's why I do most of my paintings grisaille, that is I use
grayscale first, and then I color it later. That helps alot for me.
Or if you insist on going into colors right away, then at least
try to use one color with full value range. Try to google
'grisaille paintings' images and you will know better what I am saying.
Uh, I want to sound smart, but I am not, sorry.
Hope that I helped a bit with my rant.
Take care till the next update.

sup lav , your new drawing looks cool but even tho you like flat drawings i would put in some shadows and highlights , especially in the "fleshy" part cuz now its quite hard to figure out what it actually is .
