Hey Lav thanks for your comments I like these chalk studies on the brown paper, use some hard edges aswell for the tone aswell as smudging. The paper animations are well done, they remind me of that hilarious 'rejected' animation on youtube, which you have probably seen : D

@LtPlissken, i'm waiting for my scanner to get restored, i had a leak at my place and now it's ruined. RUINED I TELL YOU!!! *cries*
@JoeS, Thanks for the tip, and yes i know Don Hertzfeldt, i love him It's funny that you mention it now because i actually used some of his dialoges in my sketchbook (which i'll upload when my scanner is fixed)

Meanwhile in Belgium... Here's a Work In Progress of my walkcycle of a pirate bird with a wooden leg (don't know why it's displayed so bright on youtube tho). Crits from myself; arm/tatoo/tail isn't perfect yet.

I've never seen a pirate bird with a wooden leg before, but If I ever did I'm pretty sure it'd walk just like that! Keep working it.

Get a bunch of seagulls together like that and they will probably fight each other for the food.

man i've missed a lot all your drawings have so much character - i feel jealous. love the one you did in post #302 to introduce yourself to the class, it must have been a memorable start to the semester and i really like the fast sketches, can never get myself to draw in pen cause i have the habit of going over my lines waaay too much. the Bridgman hand studies in post #337 are great and it's nice that you've realized exactly what you like doing and found a way to go about it that's improving your works the last image in post #360 made me laugh, i have to say she's very ballsy for a one eyed lady for a first timer your animations are great, looking forward to seeing more of those

Hey. just got your Q in my SB, all of my ink drawings are pretty much Micron pens and ShinHan Touch markers for the shades of gray. Keep up all the drawing, more observational stuff would be a terrific addition to your work schedule.

Thanks Metal Fingers! I bought some markers yesterday, my old ones dried up and gonna try to experiment more with those. I agree with your comment about observational work, i have a full sketchbook with work like that but that was the one i lost! *oh noooos!* However, i found it again and will upload it when i get back to my scanner

Hey Lav thanks for the regular visits and comments You have some nice sketches recently, definitely an improvement. I can see you like to use contour lines for your sketches, which makes them very distinguishable, but you could try to use some variety in your line weights and widths. Also your animations are awesome : D cos they completely remind me of Don Hertzfeldts' animations, you've probably seen this
