Woah Sam, you are truly dedicated. Really admire that. You are filling this book like crazy man. Keep it up like this and you'll get there for sure.
One thing you gotta watch out for is that you overrender. In most of your sketches you use a lot of extreme darks and leave almost no white. Make sure you only use extreme darks for a small amount and have enough white in your sketches so they read well. In some of your digi pieces I'm actually missing the darks . Especially the colored ones. Anyhoot those skin studies are looking good but it's even do portraits from pics studying skin tones. That way you learn where the skin has more warmer or colder colors.
Another small note is in your last pic you left out the feet. Don't leave anything out. I know its really temtping to do so (i do/did so myself), but just tackle it. Tackle all your weakness. But you have been doing so pretty well as far as i can see. SO keep it up man. You are rocking it.

Sooo today was totally shit. I stayed in all day, revised quite a lot for my exams tommorow and thought about drawing more time than I had pencil to paper, which is never good for me. I kept limiting myself, I realise I need to do more imagination stuff, but whenever I had an idea I thought "Oh I can't draw that because I'm not good yet" which is a ridiculous state of mind. At least I've learnt a lesson from today, THERE ARE NO LIMITATIONS!!!

Poses from mind..man my idea of a ribcage is shit..actually my idea of the whole body. Need to study more.

With the SP watch the sizes of the eyes and the lips, the lips seem a bit small and the eyes a little to big.
Also you seem to make sharp edges like on the eyelids, try to keep the curvage (lol is this even a word).
    Keep it up.

    Currently looking for work!

Keep it up buddy - sorry I'm takin ages to get that next perspective task for you but I'm just snowed under with other stuff right now :/

You could always try re-doing a few of my earlier tasks I set for you as you are improving all the time

What I want you to practice on next is imagining perspective lines effectively so you can avoid the annoying spider's web effect of all those guide lines!

Sketchz: Hey man, thanks. The eye size was a fuck up, but lips are generally kinda small..maybe not that small but yeah..i'll shut up now

The7Artist7: Cheers man. I think I'm gonna start doing more vehicles now that i have kinda gained a better understanding of perspective..and i never really do lines to vp anyway, just sort of start and cut off almost.

    Face from imagination..shit perspective

I just noticed that the people you draw all tend to have rather thick lower legs. There ain't that muscle there you know. On another note: that very last sketch, good job on that. I know it's reffed but still ... Anyway, keep at it, your dedication is still impressive.

Walid: Yes so much more anatomy to learn, and will probably do lots of painted portraits over half-term. Cheers

Another sketch of my brother..putting the name down was kinda pretentious He's a good sitter, since he plays guitar for hours and hour.

Some reffed sketches. Values have improved I think..I realized that you can almost justify lack of contrast elsewhere in the picture with a really light tone or dark..in this case dark next to low contrast midtone.

your lines are getting better, but still seem to be too shaky. remember the video I posted in walids SB:

here it is for you! i think i dont over-do it when I say that marko really nails it! this is IT! aim for that with every line you draw. I don´t say, " copy his style" but try to show as much confidence as he does! good luck buddy!!

    cheers

doing some facial studies is what i would recommend for you, and watch those eyes you make them to big most of the time.

    Look! I was right!

I also think you should work on faces for a while. And when you draw heads, you tend to cut off too much at the back. Remember, the head is as deep as it is tall. If you draw it in profile, it fits into a square. Your rendering and proportions are coming along nicely, but when you draw hair it tends to lack volume, gotta think of everything in 3d.
