Another portrait I did a while ago while I was visiting the Ryder studio :

    Name: Raven.jpg
Views: 1416
Size: 145.1 KB

thomsontm : thank you! It's relatively small. Approx. 9x12 .

Epias: Thanks! Yes, back in cold rainy Belgium now

Dizon: Thank you. The amount of tiny structures was amazing and a real challenge to capture. Glad it came across.

Lelle: Thank you. Yes, the piece was done entirely from life.

Lunarsis, Icedearth15876, Atreides, Oni Rem, DragonflyRina, Kuidf^!, Hyskoa, amit2k7animator : Thanks guys!

looks like you need to set up your easel earlier than anyone else painting from the model. your work is screaming for a better angle than profile.

One thing I noted in these portraits [apart from the 5 star quality of art] is the real emotion that comes out on first viewing the persons painted here.
