Nice job on those watercolors. It would be cool to see if you could push it a little further with them in your fantasy illustrations. I like the feel of the one with the green orc type guy. Very cool.

    Hello people
Snasitra thank you, I´m trying to take up my level in watercolors, but in detailed works it´s too difficult... thanks man.

Ey, those are true Amazons, with one breast removed for shooting the bow. What kind of adventure are you inventing for them?
The fish with pincers is great! The submarine vehicle has a retractable shell for protecting against the sea monsters?
Good luck with the Anillo de Einstein web, I'm eager to see the result!

Hey Leo you know the terrain!!so acute!
It is a hard theme but if we must be realistic they were like this.. And Pentesilea was a virginal-but super warrior girl..
By the moment iam not inventing nothing for them, hahaah I want it to be a powerful image showing a moment after battle with men. If you see, there´s a melancholic detail in one of bodyguards of Pentesilea who is caressing a man´s hair. And Pentesilea mus be radiant..beautiful.
Yes, it becames a closed shell when there´s a danger... Imagine this in a long travel under water.. scary uh?
    Thank you my friend!

    Let me present it
Already at the top after five horrible days of climbing, the Orc leader Nornak made his offering and demanded his prize to the demon. Sultanar spoke only once and his voice made flying stones and trees:
“The Armor needs flesh, orc. The hand of an human child and his blood once a day. If you promise, The Armor will be yours.”
That was how Nornak was deceived, and how began his days of suffering.

The first city landscape is a matte painting attempt, I think it hurts the eyes a bit.
These are watercolor works that I did for a job. I´m sorry for the bad quality photos, I tried to fix them a little, but for now is all I have.

    Hola!

Me parecen geniales!

Those three japanese watercolours are truly beautiful, especially because of their near monochrome palettes, that still life looks really sumptuous, a little stylisation has really helped it along.
The amazon pic seems to be coming on well although the whole thing is a bit centralised, a little more width to the left showing more bodies in the river, or to the right showing the way ahead would be good.

    keep bringing it.

YoungPaddy thank you so much, the two watercolors of under are the same one, it was nearly 2 m of paper... thank you for the comment. i think i will add some people to the left side of image.

This is a test I did with watercolor, in a A4 sheet. (not cotton paper)Later I ironed the paper cause it was full of wrinkles.
There´s no much sense on do it on Wcolor I know, but it was only a test with traditional textures.I want to work it with difficult themes...first one is only watercolor, the oher is retouched in Ps.

wooow, man that last concept-characters with watercolours are really hot.. also your whole watercolour-work is very good.. and your sketches are great too..
in the digital area i found a little weakness..
i think it will be no big deal for an artist like you to resolve it.
its the contrast in your digital pictures.. you have to try making more contrast in the foreground and some less at the background.. it will give your pictures the deepness it needs..
when you are working with layers just trying around with the curves in the front layers..

and dude, that pic in post 175 is awsome, first i dont see this guy in the carrier bag.. would be cool to make a female version of it with a demon-dog in the bag

..and thanks a lot for stopping by in my sketchbook..

    also high rating

Thank you so much for the comments guys!
    Shadowstalker thank you mate!
Miketaylor thanks!
Fastart Thank you dude!I agree with you in my contrast lacks... i´m working in my atmospheric perspective.. so thanks for the curves tip.

Some BIG upload, live studies and a step by step in that depresive demon.
    Some planetary enviro speedpaint too.
I have an english version of the Wheelplanet stuff (portfolio pieces) hope they are well written.
