OK, so last year I started a sculpture, and now its finished. I stoped working on it for a long time, but here it is now finished. I would appreciate any coments or crits. Thanks.

Nicely done. You've captured her innocence, and the beguiling spirit whispering in her ear perfectly...well done. If you factor in that patriarcal societies blame the women for everything and for all we know adam probly ate the fruit and blamed it on his lovely wife, but i digress...

Looking good from here.
The eyes end up starring out in the blue - instead of looking dreamingly or lovingly (or whatever) at the apple. But I cannot say I have the formula for getting the right look in the eyes of a sculpture myself.
And to comment on MADDMAESTRO: Yeah -I would probably choose the sensuality or goddess-like stature of women for a theme myself (if I possessed the nessesary skill of course).
I just love the (European) medieval paintings and statues of Adam and Eve. Of course you as an artist were under penalty of death not to make any porn - but hey - Adam and Eve were nude - so that was allowed - and made again and again ;-) I would say that Leonardo Da Vinci's Madonna Litta (below) was not made to show how lovely Jesus looked as a baby (but I may be wrong).

But lets ask Misael ;-) - do you have any comments on your choice of theme?

maddmaestro: Thanks, I was realy trying to capture that moment.
Aseyngel: Thank you for your comments. As for choice of theme, It came to me later. It started out as just a figure study. but then it was boring and just a nude woman with no story. Not that is bad but I wanted substance to it. So I added the tree base and it turned into Eve, which gave a purpose to her nudity.
Fair enough!
- I forgot to mention your snake/dragon - I love it ;-)
wow great job! i love the eve, I like the flow of hair it was captured nicely plus her body exhibits good preportion. The creature has an amazing use of texture!! How big is this piece? thats also a crazy place u have to work haha =P its cool.
mkat: Thanks for the kind words. This piece is roughly 18inces.
Very nice. What a great classic feel to it!

Breath of Life: thanks for the nice comments.
I love it! The idea is very good!! the feminine forms are very proportionate and voluptuous. I love details, mainly I like the pleat of the armpit, the hands, the feet, and the elbows, have a lot of quality of modeling! The small dragon is fantastic. How material you used, super sculpey firm?
Mariahc: Thaks I'm glad you like it. Thanks for noticing the hard work.
No it s not supersculpy its actualy a realy soft sticky clay I had for a long time. I dont remember the name.
I've been keeping an eye on your pegasus, and I'm blown away.
Que bonito trabajo. Visite tu sitio, y quede muy impresionado.
Felizidades, tienes mucho talento.
Wow, very nice, Misael. I think this is very gorgeous, lots of detail and it really tells the beginning of a great story.
I notice she looks a lot like Luisa in the face; The section of the eyes, as well as the section of her mouth.
I'm glad you were able to finish it. With the new addition on the way, I wonder if you'll have much time for this, unless you do it at work.
Hey, cool! I love the feet!
