I find it very strange that this SB hasn't gotten any love yet. There's some serious fun radiating from your sketches and you seem to have a decent grip on your anatomy. If you've been on this forum some time you'd probably realize most of the people here have a serious fetisj for that. Anyways, hope you keep posting, maybe some coloured stuff?

alkaline111: Thank you so much for the advice! I've been really trying to focus on these things this week, still trying to get my head around it. You are right all my transitions are the same and i need to be concious of what i am doing. And in terms of light.....I've realized i don't think about it actively when i paint and thats i guess why they can look fuzzy. Gotta paint smarter!

HEY MAN artee!!
Be aware of the quality of the lights and the interaction and union between the particular colors and values(everything you see is being brought forth by light, understand why and how to communicate the range of exposure you want)..understand what your materials are and how they react to the light (absorb, or reflect)..... treat the transitions with great care.....being conscious of the sharpness or the softness of transitions..
take chances and make every stroke purposeful.......meaning there needs to be a purpose/idea in mind.
