The aim is to produce 50 gestures by Sunday the 21st of September.

The gestures can be of anything, human, animal, cavorting capybaras....and can be in any media, digital or traditional is fine.

In addition to this, participants can choose to do a Optional Study of "Bird", in any media. Black and White or Colour is fine.

Come on soldiers! Flex those muscles!!

PS...critting each other is highly encouraged!! Let's help each other get better!

I hope there isnt a sort of quality restriction here......if there is I apologize.

I have never done anything like this so I went ahead and wanted to challenge myself. I did the 50 requirement using posemaniacs random generator. I did fourty 60 second ones and then did eight 90 second ones and two 10 second ones.

I really hope that you guys can give me some tips and help me on these.

I did enjoy doing them and hopefully I can do these as amazing as the rest of you.

Its amazing how bad the first one was lmao.....*sigh*

I had just a few gestures this evening, so I did almost everything in the last few hours, in an unusual tired state... (it's good we have a tripod) it was still fun except the very end. I'm so sleepy now.
I tried to make quick posemaniacs, but I was very unpleased with them. there are still some.
I wished to make better birds, too, I didn't spent much time on them.
    good night

Saintfuse:Try to throw down a light structure line down before worrying about the muscles and forms surrounding it. This should help provide a guide prior to laying down your contours. No need to fill in your 90 sec gestures with hatching imo.

    Anthis:Great stuff as usual.

Manmadegod:Nice ones! You really got the foreshortening down and nice render of the option.

Shinin: Try to do a few gestures a day. It'll cut down on the time so you won't feel like you need to rush. I think your smaller ones show the most expression. The larger ones tend to get stiffer.

    nice optionals, everyone!

prepsage: I usually make gestures in my workdays too, though not so much, but this very week wasn't like this, I spent my little drawing time with my Sprite Animation Weekly anims and there was a party too... since I do these activities, I never had only a few gestures in a Sunday evening... and I never will, I think, it was tough in my after-party state
but I couldn't rush, I spent the same amount of time for my not-stickman ones. and I actually had fun
[FACEPALM. I did some not bad gestures from my mind, it was unusual, there was 10 and I did them in Monday or Tuesday, but on some earlier pages of my sketchbook, I had some empty space there and this time I didn't write the actual date. oh, no big deal.]

SaintFuse: welcome and don't worry, keep doing these studies and you'll improving. I still don't know how I really should make these, what's the good attitude when I copy photos... I try to construct them if I can, not only mindless copying, but that's all... and after a few hundreds gestures I became a little better. these studies help.
