plokoon, you've come to the right place. A Visual Guide to Alien Beings was a collection of my drawings and research notes that I put together for sale at the 1995 MUFON Symposium. Unfortunately, it is no longer available, but keep watching this space, as I may be posting some of the drawings from it in the coming weeks and months. The thing is, I think I can improve upon them now. Thanks for your interest.

Hey thanks for the SB comment. You have some cool stuff and seem to really be into aliens. I would strongly encourage you to start doing some anatomy studies from artist anatomy books, and books by Loomis, Bridgeman, etc. As well as doing some human head studies and practicing heads and faces. I think it would really help your work take that next step and give it more realism.

I was going through old files and found these scans of images I posted as photographs on the first page of my sketchbook. Scans generally come out better. I cleaned up the background in Photoshop for presentation purposes.

These were done in acrylic, though you can see where I used pencil and ink to demark the scales. I never got anywhere near finished with these, and I probably never will, unless I get seriously back into acrylic at some point. Although I'm liking doing drawings in pencil, scanning them, and adding color and corrections in Photoshop. Much neater than actual paint.

Janos and Untouched24, I appreciate your advice. You are both quite talented. I'll take things at my own pace and see where it goes. Maybe I'll push myself a bit more at some point.

plokoon, that's some nice art, but please remove them and post them at a smaller size, or start your own sketchbook. It's kind of cluttering up my sketchbook. It's a good idea to clean things up a bit, adjust the size, contrast and so forth, before posting your images online.

All I can really tell you about the Bill McDonald illustration is that those are different variations of Grays based on his investigations. I don't know about the one with the round eyes and the odd texture on the head. That's probably one of those rare types that's not reported very often. I suggest you get in touch with Bill McDonald.

Yes, I'm quite familiar with K. Wilson and her Alien Jigsaw website. She's an experiencer and a researcher. I have a great deal of respect for her. I'm not sure if I've seen the Wingate book you mention but the name is familiar. The images you post are familiar, and I think I've seen versions of them (at least the first two) in several UFO books, but I haven't necessarily seen those same beings in other cases. Let's just say, I have insufficient information to determine exactly what those beings are.

plokoon, I would recommend that you create your own sketchbook for your art. You have done some interesting things and should keep at it. The more you draw, the better your stuff will look. The UFO community needs more illustrators.

miston, if you are referring to the top image of post #23 (on the first page of the sketchbook), that I posted on April 2, 2009, that's from an interview back on July 27, 1996 (good thing I wrote the date down) with a woman who remembers seeing such a praying mantis type being. The acrylic painting just below that image is also based on that case. It is not "two cops and a body lying on a stretcher" but a simple representation of the woman lying on a table with a tall and short Gray and the mantis being hovering over her.

The two acrylic paintings immediately below that (one with an orange background and one with a green background) are based on the memories of two other witnesses.

It is hard to get consistent data on the mantis type aliens. They seem to be more varied than the Grays or reptilians, and they are definitely more alien looking. The Grays are just simplified humanoids. The reptilians resemble terrestrial reptiles. The mantis and other insectoid aliens are weird-looking by comparison. I would definitely like to have more information about them.

hmm I heard a lot of Mantises are evademic (good) there are many groups of Mantis which were manipulated by Draconians...
In one polish website of channelingers, they wrote ,Mantises come from Lyra
and They're one of First beings of all (but i don't know that's truth)

plokoon, My booklet was by no means comprehensive. I will upload some of the drawings from it, but I will need time to scan them first, so have patience. You need to find fellow UFO enthusiasts and experiencers in your own area, hone your drawing skills, and see what you can come up with.

Well, here's something from A Visual Guide to Alien Beings. I did this in 1995 with pencil, ink and colored pencil. I included dabs of acrylic paint labeled by color on the side to show people what colors to use when painting these beings based on my research at the time. You will see from the note below the image that I was not entirely happy with the result, as the impression I was getting from witnesses is that the face should be a little more human-like in proportion. Since then I am confident that both long-snouted (i.e., more animal-like) and short-snouted reptilians have been described.

plokoon, The stuff here in my online sketchbook is, for the most part, better than the stuff in that old booklet. Looking back on it I think of the booklet as training, as well as gathering of raw data, and putting it out there in the hopes of encouraging other artists to begin similar research/illustration projects.

A friend of mine requested that I post an image of a human-Gray hybrid (transgenic) being. Looking over my old stuff I found I don't have a lot of material on that, but I did have an acrylic painting of an apparent hybrid male wearing a military uniform with a naru collar. So I scanned the painting (a photo of it appears on page one of this sketchbook) and began Photoshop work on it. It's still a WIP, but here's what I have so far. I'm wondering if I should make the neck shorter, thicker and more human-like, anatomically. It seems kind of "tubular" right now, without much visible shape or anatomy. I just have a few notes from the witness. The encounter took place over ten years ago.

Thanks for starting your own sketchbook. Please keep adding to it. Feel free to re-draw any of my images for practice purposes. I'd love for more people to get involved in this research.

Thanks for sharing those plokoon. I don't think they are the most accurate pictures I've seen. They are more like children's book illustrations. In some of the images, I think the artist is just guessing what the being looked like, based on an inadequate witness description. Even so, the Travis Walton, Barney and Betty Hill, Pascagoula cases and so forth are recognizable. I'm glad people in Poland have an opportunity to learn about these cases.

Have patience! The more important information/art from my research (including drawings from A Visual Guide to Alien Beings) will be scanned and posted in the future, with appropriate descriptive information. Words can't convey everything, and while a picture is worth a thousand words, pictures can't convey all the important details of a being's appearance or anatomy either. I firmly believe that using drawings plus verbal descriptions is the best way to communicate this information.
