Mr. Invincible
I just wanted to point out that your job statement contradicts itself. You mention you're capable of paying "Upfront" but then it mentions you will pay the artist "After" every 5th page is done.
Shouldn't you state you'll be paying $350 up front for a 5 page contract? or something to that degree.

Generally, in comics, paid upon completion is considered up-front payment. Money based on sales is considered back-end payment.

I agree with this sentiment... You gave no indication to genre, plot, setting or anything of that sort.
Very frequently, an artist's interest in a job will depend on the material that they will be working with. Granted, sometimes we would take an offer for something anyway if money is tight, but we would still prefer to know what we're getting into before we express interest.
You might receive more response if you give more information about the job you are offering. That makes it better for everone-- especially for yourself! It means that you won't have to worry about someone expressing interest only to back out if they don't like the concept and also that you might receive more interest since we know what the project will entail and thus won't have as much reason to be wary of your offer.

Misterio, are you asking if this is a scam because you're worried after reading the links posted here, or have you already done some pages for Mr.Invisible and are starting to worry?
Guys, seriously, this has gone on far enough. Yes, in the past, I made the stupid mistake of trying to dub as three people to get an artist, but, I wasn't then, and still am not a scam. This whole thing got blown way up because of what ONE person said, I closed the new thread on GUTTERZOMIE because I didn't want to start up the drama again, and it looks like, its beginning to brew, so, allow me to clear the air by stating that I AM NOT A SCAMMER! Still, I know that you ignorant few are going to reply with harsh words as it often does happen, but, really people, it is a waste of time continuing with these childish antics. I respect that all of you have each others backs hough, that shows me that the comic community is a huge family, and I like that. So, please, just forgive and let go, because I'm tired of the rumors, and I don't wanna continue this crap anymore.
Thanks For Your Time,
-John

Mr. Invincible there's a saying that many people here follow. It's called money talks and bullshit walks either put up ot shut up and from all the links that people have shown me. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck it must be one!
Please don't come back..unless you actually have a real paying job or post your projects in the correct section which is non payment.
