Nice job on the WTF face. The shading is very solid. You should consider doing some perspective studies, that'll help with buildings.

Cool digitals! The nose in the first one is pretty damn sexy. The eyes look a too small though.
Try use a different pallete for the skin, with more variations in colours like some greens or purples.
Nice lines
bigfooTrooper Cheers man, its 6x11 since I have a widescreen monitor.
FraserMcT Yeah thanks man the eyes are a bit small and I do need more colours in my paints.
UGH chalks are hard
Also SP pretty much finished, also progress gif.
I hate pastels too. I haven't used really dry ones though, but that looks pretty good for a first. Feet are too small, and the one closest to us has some perspective issues.
Nice digi dude. You are coming on leaps and bounds. Main thing is that you need to get some cleaner edges, and work on hair
Cool though, keep up the studies.
FraserMcT Yeah those feet gave me a problem, Thanks for the advice![]()
This is my first gouache, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to use it as a water colour or thick paint?. Anyway If you've noticed I've been drawing old people, they are sketches for a school project which I will eventually turn into a painting next week. All these drawings are scaled therefore out of my comfort area, I'm starting to get the concept down but as always there's a lot more work to do.
Nice update!
The thing about guoache, is that you can use it however the hell you want!
Try get more muted colours, this can be done loads of ways, such as adding the opposite colour.
Your sps are improving massivly, good job.
FraserMcT Cheers man really appreciate it
Heres my 1/3 major paintings for school (acrylic), its pretty much finished, only got a day and abit to work on it so its not what I want it to be :/. Also 2 sp's the others arent worth putting in here.

Verehin Thanks a lot man, I should be saying your pencils are amazing, which they are lol.
first study in a looooong time let alone applying what I learnt (I know suprising) made drawing my sp so much easier. Also some sp features I forgot to add be fore and a little colour study, need to do more of them.
Moar studies, sp's, applying it with shit results over the past two days
sorry for shithouse photo's
Yeah I think you can probably tell from the studies and stuff, but you can avoid stiffness by playing with rotation and movement of the rib cage, and the shoulder and hip lines inverting. For instance, stand on one foot and see how your shoulder and hips sort of go like this > or < depending on which foot. This generally gives a sense of balance to your stuff. Try it out, and keep it up, you're doing great.

Hi! Thanks for your comment you left in my SB!
When I was listing through your sketchbook I told myself: "pretty good faces this man is drawing."
BUT when I came to the very end where your oil paintings is shown, my jaw fell down on the floor and I just told myself: "what the...? His THIRT oil an it's such fucking great!"
these are my words
keep up
more oils
Nrx Thanks a lot man, Yeah my sp drawings aren't so strong.. yet but I tried to push the values more these latest sp's hopefully it will get better.
Kalim Cheers man, really appreciate taking the time to look through, and don't worry more oils to eventually come
alrighty pretty big update I guess...
anyway here's all my sp's since last update, a page of imagination scribbles (getting more fun now), some designs that I was playing with for a tattoo design but they seem like more orientated to a shirt design, and a hand from life study to use for a later design and thats it.
GODDAMMIT the scanner raped the designs
Edit (posted wrong pic)
Most of these drawings(not sp's and neither the chick with the smiley) I showcased to my local tattoo shop, I also included my two latest paintings in the portfolio. They were pretty impressed and they want to introduce me to a guy who sells tattoo designs all around the country and in the states. They also wanted me to come in and watch them and eventually tattoo for them. It sure would beat working at K-mart. The great thing about it, it wont conflict with me attending high school.
If you cbf reading I'm just extremely happy.![]()

Finally I have updated, exams and school has been hectic, but 14 or so weeks left of this shit, then I can finally concentrate on art. I haven't posted everything I've done but its still shame full for this time, alas I have two weeks of holiday now which will consist of
Black swan potraiture competition
Yearbook diary cover
School major painting
Possibly painting for my brothers house
and just huge amount of drawing mixed with school study -_-.
Now these updates mostly consist of school drawings leading up to my painting and THAT DISGUSTING DRAWING OF FLIES IS SUPPOSED TO REFLECT ON DADA so dont go judging me ahaha.
Also the caricature is of my art teacher, apart of a series for the yearbook.
