Cow newbie - iso: Orientation/ graphic arts

    Hey guys,

I'm new to these forums. I'm a semi-professional photographer looking to learn the ways of the for... I mean, photoshop (CS3 being my weapon of choice). More specifically, I'm looking to learn how to do photomanipulation to recreate fantasy landscapes to transform the mundane into the extraordinary.

So... by some twist of luck I have stumbled accross this fantastic forum and was hoping that someone could point me in the right direction (perhaps a tutorial to start with... or other).

    Thanks for reading!

ps. I've attached some of my works of photo-retouching to give u an idea of where i'm at.

Nice touch ups the colors pop with your work. I am not well versed in photography or photoshop but heres a link to a photography specific forum created by conceptart.org. Its got a few links to tutorials and the like, maybe its a help. Also check the rest of that forum out, it should be worthwhile experience.

oh yah, it's always worth a shot to look around youtube.com. Youtube often has quite a few good tutorials, if you can find them amongst the bad ones.

I just purchased the "advanced Photoshop" magazine... Got really interesting stuff there.
