Skin balls And the practice of skin tones Painting and Blending.

I was going to post this in Critigues but I think this will be better if it get some attention I started to study skin tones because I thought that was a big weakness of mine when ever I had a sketch ready to put some skin on.
So I started learning with this really good small tutorial type thing
Then thought I would get some feedback and let other people put in on this and learn with me.
So what does everyone think of the skin ball Or have any other suggested abstract forms for practiceing skin and SSS on.
